What makes it worse for the Raptors is that it is the Piston's bench that is whipping your Raptors starters... and it is in Toronto. If your team can't even make a close game against the Pistons bench (a team that doesn't even need the win), then that is pretty sad.
Sorry... I just had to rub it in!

WTF just happened
25 seconds left. Potentially the sketchiest and oddest comeback ever.

Well that was probably the least deserving win of the year for us, we were owned until the last 5 minutes by Detroit's bench and were playing pathetic... but I'll take it!

At least it was a fun game to watch! It looked like it would be a blowout for a while.
It was a nice comeback by Toronto, even if it was against the deepest region of Detroit's bench - they had one guy who was just called up from the D-league today (Johnson) and one who never plays during the regular season (DuPree) in almost the entire 4th quarter.
It really made me appreciate the Pistons starters that much more as you can tell the massive difference in poise down the stretch. The bench players kept making retarded decisions, but even then... the ball just seemed to bounce Toronto's way at the end.

At this point I'd say the Lakers do not deserve a playoff spot. The 7th and 8th spots should go to the Warriors and the Clippers as they've both been playing like playoff teams down the stretch.

Well the Lakers are obviously falling apart at the scenes. It would be interesting if the Warriors can make the playoffs.

Since the W's dont own the tiebreaker with either team, they need Clips or Lakers to lose one more and they need to win out. Cant believe Lakers lost to Clips, Lakers are becoming pathetic, it's Kobe vs *Insert Team*, this team played much better last year down the stretch it was a team effort, now that Kobe needs to take 30 shots a game, none of the other players can find their rythm, they get locked down and stand motionless while Kobe thanks a fading 25ft shot with 3 people in his face, his shot selection is getting insane, it's as if he has something to prove by making those shots.

The Suns didn't even need to play the 4th quarter.
Nash with 18 more assists.
One more win clinches the 2nd spot and home court until meeting with Dallas in the Conference Finals.
Their BENCH outscored the Jazz in the 4th quarter.

The Jazz are so one and done in the playoffs, I don't know how they completley fell off like this. Barkeley's crazy praises and predictions as of late cursed them.

Going to be interesting to see how Rockets perform against Suns on Monday. I kind of wish Spurs to lose today so that Suns would clinch and no longer need to play at full strength, but on the other hand, I want to see how Rockets measure up against the one team that have owned them in Yao's era.

Clips are being blown out in a Sacremento game they should win. Their last game is against Phoenix, so this would be a huge blow... not counting out the Lakers to play like a disaster in thier last 2, though still. What a bomb for them after last year if this is it.

That Knicks game was fun Nebs, but damn, that team is soo lazy and unfit... unforgivable for a group of professional athletes. Was a couple plays near the end there where Calderon was just walking through them. I think NY has a good enough core group of players to make playoffs, but their ethics kills them.

Another game where Kobe needs to score 50 for his team to have hope, this time they win.
Huge day, W's kill Wolves, Clips get beat by Kings EVEN THOUGH Musslemen (Kings coach) took Bibby, Martin, and Miller out the game in the 4th quarter and played with all their scrubs and Artest, he was obviously not looking to win that game, Clips ALMOST came back but just fell short.
W's now up 1 game on Clips, if they win the next two they got 8th spot locked no matter what, what would be really sweet is if Clips lose to Suns and W's beat Mavs on Tuesday at home, clinching the POs at home would be alot cooler then having to clinch in Portland in the last game. Whatever happens, this team has shown tremendous heart and team ball. They've been playing fantastic and are hungry for the POs, if they make it they sure as hell wont let Mavericks push them around, it'll probably be one of the better first round series.

I don't think lazy is a fair word to describe them. Lousy, yeah, that's better word. :-)
Though, not all of them. Malik Rose still has some aces in his sleeve, and Mardy Collins is usually outstanding on defense...that last foul on Graham was bad, but he's a rookie, he'll learn to give better, harder fouls. And almost triple double for him. Thomas is indeed master of drafting, to hell with Marcus Williams and people that still are bitching New York hasn't drafted him.
And if they did, they would bitch about his non-defense-chucking play.
Frye is a biggest dissapointment of the season, I really hope he picks it up next year, or it's bye bye to him.
All the worst in Playoffs Shack. :-p
Though, it will be hard to pick one to cheer between you and New Jersey. :disgusting:
Spurs win all.

I have a theory that Indiana is having a pathetic enough season, that Washington beats them on the last day of the season and NJ vs Tor. is narrowly avoided. Could go either way still though.

The Suns FINALLY lose to the Rockets. It's amazing at how hard they played when really, they didn't have to.

arghhh
Jamison scores near 50 points and they still can't win.
Last hope is that Indiana really really sucks tomorrow.

Ok, no J. O'Neal... Wizards have a good chance. I would never have believed I could be so pumped for an Indiana vs Washington game on the last day of the season!
The ironic and funny part of this whole thing? Mo'Pete misses that miracle shot against the Wizards, and this ordeal is probably avoided. That could be the worst thing that happened to us this year.

Looks like the Eastern conference playoffs are all set.
I can't believe that Cleveland pulled out the #2 spot. They definitely have the easy bracket to the ECF. Miami, Chicago, and Detroit are all in the same bracket and two of them will be gone before the ECF.
Anyhow, my round 1 predictions for the Eastern Conference:
Detroit over Orlando in 5 games
Cleveland over Washington in 5 games
New Jersey over Toronto in 7 games
Chicago over Miami in 6 games
Detroit vs. Chicago in the next round ought to be a fun series!

I hate the Nets. Wizards pull the win out, and they still take it from beating Chicago. Can't believe it.
Silver lining is Cleveland in round 2 would be choke city. I actually think the winner of Tor./NJ will go to the ECF.
