With Spring Training games starting up, i thought i'd start a page for the 2007 Major League season. Talk about anything related to the 2007 season here. Predictions, trades, injuries, scores, etc.

I think the indians have a decent shot to be in the mix for the central division this year. they have a solid rotation and a great offense. If their revamped bullpen pans out, i think their 2007 win total will be closer to what it was in 2005 (93), than it was in 2006 (78).

I only care about baseball in the playoffs, pretty much.

With that being said, once it gets there, I can't wait to defend my title as the worst predictor of all time.

The Tigers will win 1 or more games than they won last year.

i think the twins will fall off a bit. they have Johan Santana and 4 other unproven starters in their rotation. they will be without radke and liriano which will really hurt.

I've only been saying that the past 6 years. Yeah, Im not counting out the Twins at all. In fact, I think they'll end up in 2nd place, if not first. Every year they lose talent, and never seem to fall off.

If a closer can emerge. If they figure that spot out within the first couple of months, they'll be in great shape.

Never mind. They found one. Jonathan Papelbon is going back to the closer's role.

Thank God Sabathia didn't break his wrist after getting hit by a line drive. Looks like he'll most likely still pitch opening day.

Unless a team can get hot like the Cardinals did last year during the postseason, I see the champs coming out of the American League.

Two things I am wondering about. How will D'mat pitch. I hve seen one 8, 15, 18 Yahoo predictions. I am going with 20 + and Cy Young award as I think he will be outstanding. On the Mets, I think most are under-predicting their wins. Just like last year when the pitchers surprised, I think Maine and Perez will be in the 15 + win club. Based on spring training and the last month of the season, I think Perez got his head straighten out.

nice start by the tribe today, pounding the white sox 12-5. Sabathia didn't have his best stuff but pitched good enough to get the job done.

Im glad I had school and had to miss the season opener.

Well the Red Sox opened well.

Tigers are doomed already... 100 losses here we come...

Mets. 1 down, 161 to go for a perfect season. If anyone saw that game, most teams probably would have lost the game but the Mets with too much offense, good pitching and a strong defense, made it a pretty easy win.

The Angels are 2 for 2 so far. Way to go team!!!

Seeing a team beat you with a great defensive play when it looked like it was going to be a walk off home run/double/whatever is the most frustrating angerfyingly horrendous fucking sport thing ever.

talk about heaven, yesterday went to a sports bar and besides having wings and beer served by "hooters" type waitresses, 6 games on: Mets(still looking great)/ Cards, Boston/KC, Dodgers/Mil, Cin/Chi, Phil/Atlanta, Pitts/Astros.

Also, today is the debut of the D'Mat for Boston; I really want to see him pitch to see how Major League hitters can or can't handle him. I am still saying he will do very well this season. Forgetting about that gyroball that isn't suppose to exist and he doesn't throw; he supposely throws about 5 pitches well and controlled. Think about that, most pitchers have 1 or 2, if this guy can throw 5 or so, he will do very well.

Hernandez should get the win here, cause he did more than Chicago did.

Whew, only 2 games back. Season isn't over yet!

If Matsuzaka can pitch like he did today throughout the enitre season, he'll be worth the money spent and thensome. He went 7 innings pitched giving up one run on six hits and striking out ten. If it weren't his first game, he probably could've pitched the full nine innings. With the exception of one mistake (home run) he was pretty much perfect.
