Raptors are 1-5 in 07 without Anthony Parker in the lineup, and 22-7 with him.
Wait... what?

Spurs got as close as 6 games to catching the Mavs before thursday. after 2 straight loss they are back to 8 games.
and
the Suns are back to 3.5 games behind also after their loss friday.
and WOAH! they are already down 20 points to Denver with 5 minutes left till halftime.
GO DENVER!
Mavs got to play @ Detriot tomorrow. We gotta show up ready and fucking riot em.
There's only 18 more games till the playoff begins. We need to go 17-1 to reach 70 wins.
WE CAN DO IT!!!!

This is the most bizarre night of basketball results ever.
Denver is currently beating Phoenix by 38 points. Boston beat San Antonio. Memphis beat Chicago. Indiana won a game. The Golden State Warriors are looking like a playoff team.
I just don't know what to believe anymore!

You can really start to tell which teams are gearing up for the playoffs now.
For all the talk about how much better the west is this year, I think as we near the finish line the hottest teams are all in the East - Miami, Detroit, and Cleveland all look unstoppable at the moment.

Yeah, I think I've accepted Toronto in 4th seed for this year. Wizards are catchable, Shaq's Heat... not so much. Right now 3rd doesn't look much better anyways though, matching up to Cleveland in Round 2 is no longer any more accesible than Detroit and Washington in Round 1 isn't much better than the Bulls.
I'm kind of surprised at how good Cavs are, after Lebron their next best players are like... Hughes? Varejio? Meanwhile Wizards have 3 great players in Arenas/Jamison/Butler and they still can't do shit for contending.
East looks a lot tougher than it did 2 months ago now. Raptors and Bulls look like the most low-key and under the radar teams in the 6 huddle now, I think I'll enjoy that match-up assuming it happens. Pistons probably walk over the winner though.

Boom Dizzle hit the game winning shot, W's needed that big time. Now we get to rest until we gotta fight some stiff competition next week, though W's lately seem to play better against teams over .500 then the scrub teams, so it might not be all that bad especially with the rest we have now since we played more games then most teams in the league.

Rockets are only 2 games behind Utah now, and they still have two games against each other. Rockets' remaining schedule looks pretty manageable, with no game left against Spurs or Mavs. I think 11-5 the rest of the way might be enough to grab the home court.

The Mavs are going to wear themselves out again before the playoffs and won't have enough in the tank to go all the way...
But the Suns are resting after their MUCH needed win against the MAVS, because the Mavs suck, they will be in PERFECT shape for a playoff run.

Whoever gets that 5th spot and faces Raptors in the first round will be very happy, they're way too inconsistent. It is expected with a young team though.
If Heat end up passing Bulls for 5th, Raptors are screwed. Bulls arent pushovers either, but you no doubt wanna take on Bulls instead of Heat.

Rockets looks very much in sync right now, even with Yao still adjusting to the flow of a real game.
