So no adults were allowed in the crowd tonight at the Rookie/Sophomore game? When did the NBA turn into Nickelodeon?
And just my luck, I thought the Slam Dunk contest was tonight. I just sat through two hours of that "game" for something that's tomorrow night. YIPEE!
Wait - Never mind. The Bruce Campbell Old Spice commercial just came on. That alone makes my night.

Hopefully Gerald Green can do well so the Celtics can be remembered for something else this year besides Red's passing and that 18 game losing streak.

Some all-star game. The record for highest scoring team in the all-star game is 155 points, set in 02(?) in double overtime... And the West got 153 this year in REGULATION. Ridiculous. No defensive play at all in that game.

Wow the Lakers really need Jason Kidd. Even with the 5 game losing streak, I thought they could at least come back rested at home and beat the Portland Trail-Blazers... embarrassing. While I do think they'll have Kidd by tomorrow, I can't wait to see if the infamous Celtics can beat them tomorrow night, before Kidd gets there to fix things.
And can anyone argue Nash doesn't deserve MVP now? It's as simple as when he plays, they win nearly every game, when he doesn't, they lose by double digits to teams like the Sonics. He deserves it more this year than any of the last 2.

Raps just laid out a message for the Indy Pacers... if it wasn't for being asleep in the first 5 minutes of the 4th and allowing them the first 16 points of that quarter, the domination was there enough for a 30+ or even 35+ point win. 22 with that late run included is still pretty great, a stomping on a pretty good team. If it's Bulls or Pacers in the playoffs I like our chances.

Rest in peace D.J.
First Red, then the 18 game losing streak, now Dennis Johnson. This year from hell couldn't end sooner for the Celtics. In '97 I thought that was rock bottom. This is rock bottom. It can only go up from here.

Well, you *could* miss out on Oden or Durant. Not that it didn't happened before (Duncan).

They're not going to start winning anytime soon. It'll be between them and Memphis. Now I know it's the luck of a ping pong ball, but even if they had to worst possible luck, they'll have a somewhat decent pick. Not a franchise player, but a decent pick, who could one day turn into a franchise player (Pierce).
Throw that pick into the mix of Pierce and Sczerbiak (If they stay healthy), with Jefferson, Green and West (All with one more year's experience) that's a playoff team.
The reason why the Celtics are in this situation to begin with is because Pierce and Szcerbiak went down at the same time. When both of them play at the same time, they're about a .500 basketball team. With the experience I talked about, they'll be better next year. Throw an Oden into the mix or a Durant, they all of a sudden become somewhat intimidating.

Celtics are pretty much in the exact position the Raptors were in last year. Bottom of the barrel, but with a franchise player(Bosh), and a bunch of young talent that will only get better... then add a #1 pick, and you've got something. Now Toronto had Colangelo on the GM front who did a god of a job in the offseason getting the euros and a PG, but I expect Boston to develop in a similar way.

Ok I officially love the Celtics now. Nets don't deserve to crawl back in the Atlantic race if they can blow a game THAT badly. Foul Boston on the last play of regulation and you win... course they didn't.

Yeah, thank you Boston.
Still hate you, though. :-)
Now, hopefully I'll thank tomorrow Philly as well.

Mavs win again. 15 in a row and 22 straight at home. Records now 50-9.
Also tied Bulls record of winning 50 in a 55 game span.
Bulls set that record during their 72-10 season.

I'll say it again.
In the last two games they've gone to three overtime periods and ended up winning both games. Because of this, they are now out of the top (Bottom) spot for the lottery.
Standings for last
1. Memphis - 15-46
2. Boston - 17-42 (2 games in hand however)
3. Two teams tied with - 22-38
And just incase there was any doubt in which conference the championship will go to..........
The Celtics are 21 games back of first.
The Grizzlies are 36 games back of first.
