Wow, I liked the closing conversation between Bree and Rex. Don't you love how they give us a reason to feel sorry for Rex, just a bit, only to have Bree tear him down piece by piece? Awesome.

I won't ever, ever feel sorry for Rex. He and Andrew are both (expletive deleted)'s.

True, but they tried to make it seem like we were supposed to feel bad, and that Bree would take him back. Wait, let me backtrack... it was like they wanted Rex to have a change of heart, but this time Bree turned her back on Rex! There. :D

Yeah he specifically told her to give the passport to his lawyer and burn the papers. But instead she burned the passport.

I liked Bree this episode, but I was surprised at Gabby the most, she finally for once seemed sympathetic to me, not sure if it was what happened or the way the actress handled it but it worked, I finally liked her.

I hope the Gabby affair with the gardener going on hiatus was the writers doing and not the network responding to fcc pressure and telling the producers to make it go away, since that was the most controversial storyline in coverage I read.

I try not to take this show as realistic and view it as a comedy or else I'd be griping that Susan should not be letting some guy she just met and slept with have so much input into her relationship with her kid (When she asked his opinion on it and did what he said, in front of her daughter).

OKAY, someone told me today that when at the end, they were knocking on MRs. huber's door, she opened it.... is that true?
Cuz my tape got cut off right when they were knocking on the door...

what does Gabrille do with the papers? I got that she burned the passport.

They didn't show Gabrielle after she put the passport in the fire so you don't really know what she did with the papers, I think.

She didn't, it probably would have been too weird - even for a nighttime soap opera (well maybe not Melrose Place that show was crazy) - to have a character still warm in the ground open the door to her place. I think it ended with the cops and Edie just milling around the front porch, in an effort to show that people are aware of her absence.

January 9 still seems so very far away.

OK not the best episode, but Bree yet again has killer scene, this time with her son. this woman deserves every freakin award there is.

oh, and i just realized there are TWO former melrose place actors here: bree and that other husband guy who likes the nanny

anyway, the show is still good. it's dragging a little right now. but i'm sure the twists and one liners will begin again soon for february sweeps!

It was a good episode, not great but good.

I hope they make Eva's character better in the future.. they have an opportunity to make her more than just an adultress.

Yeah, it was a good episode, nothing I'd watch twice but it had its moments.
Most of those moments involved Bree, who once again remains one of the key reasons why I love this show as much as I do. "Don't confuse my anal retentiveness for actual affection" and then she takes away the flowers, heh. Also liked that she spoke back to her son Andrew, who was waivering between total asshole and somewhat ok human being tonight. I guess if he's on Bree's side I can tolerate him.

Pretty much everyone else kind of bugged me this episode. Gabrielle much less so than usual, at least she was trying to earn some money, which to me, was a welcome change from her past less than honourable activities. Susan was good when she was angry, other than that she was her normal dopey Susan. I'm glad she had that epiphany at the end regarding her feelings towards Mike, but I imagine Mrs. Huber's jewellery in Mike's garage will put a dampener on that relationship - Damn you Paul. So Lynette's nanny is gone, which she is once again 'stuck' with her kids all by herself, which probably means more "Lynette has trouble with her kids" stories for her. Which is a shame because at the beginning I liked her, now not so much.

I liked Martha's sister, she was great as Frasier's agent on Frasier, and the actress who plays her does a wonderful job on Desperate Housewives. Not verbatim: "The world is a better place without my sister" Harsh, but not entirely false.

I thought tonight's episode was great. I'm actually starting to like Gabrielle and Susan. I really liked the scene with Susan singing New York, New York, hah.

I loved the part where the nanny, the mom and the dad were in the kitchen and he got soooooo busted by his wife and then he said, "we have to make some changes"! Hilarious, of course my wife then said that is why we never will have a good looking nanny.

Eva and Bree were the most interesting this episode, to me. Bree finally started seeming a bit attractive, less icy, and Eva was amusing. Susan is starting to get a bit boring though, it's like all she does all day is socialize, doesn't she have a job, or a hobby or anything? Hell even bowling would at least be something.

And then there's Lynette and I have to say I actually sympathize with the husband. I'm not endorsing him having any affair or such, that would be wrong, but I can't blame him one bit for being attracted to that girl who not only is pretty but is 100 times more likeable (Even if she was his age and not younger) than his shrewish wife who looks like she's 10 years older than him and has a grating personality.
