Well let's see, Michigan's TOP PLAYER is Manningham. How would OSU do without their TOP PLAYER, Troy Smith? Pretty badly...
Michigan's defense IS better. Points allowed is not a good number to go by.
If you go by yards per game, Michigan wins. 235-261.
If you go by passing yards per game, OSU wins. 169-206
But if you go by rushing yards per game, Michigan rocks OSU. 28-91
And your points per game argument is almost worthless... OSU lets up 7 per game, Michigan lets up 11. Not much difference.
Michigan can't afford to lose the game. Ohio State can't afford to lose the game. It's going to be the biggest game we've ever seen.

yeah and there's almost no difference in yards given up per game, so your yards allowed argument is almost worthless as well. let's face it, their defenses are almost dead even. michigan's rush defense is better than osu's, and osu's pass defense is better than michigan's, and osu gives up slightly fewer points. all i was saying is that michigan's defense isn't so much better than osu's, they're very close. and yes, this game will be massive.

So... West Virgina is now a 1 loss team.
Will Louisville be ranked at #3 now? Or will Florida? And how is Florida ranked so high in the first place?
Can Louisville get past Rutgers, who is a more complete team than West Virginia?
If not... can Rutgers run the table?
If every team has 1 loss except OSU/Michigan, and the OSU/Michigan game is close... could there be a rematch?

rutgers is not a more complete team... they played no one and are overrated.
louisville will show them whats up next week and then wvu will handle them the last game of the season.
today just reiterated my point that besides the steelers winning the super bowl, this is the most disappointing sports year for me ever.
pirates .500 nope
west virginia undefeated? nope
steelers playoff team? nope
at least i have the pens left

Well I wish that Slaton with 18 carries and 156 yards didn't get hurt early in the 3rd quarter. That would have been a great 2nd half.

I'm thinking Rutgers will eeke out a win vs. Louisville... but then lose to WV at season's end...
So... the championship is probably gonna be Florida Vs. Michigan/OSU.

told my friend that we should have bet USC giving 30 points today especially with everyone saying that USC isn't winning by enough points, that 1 loss and WR Jarrett finally healthy.

If Louisville is gonna lose it's to Rutgers but Rutgers is like Texas A&M in the big 12. Nice record but not that good. Louisville will finish it off and go undefeated and be playing Ohio State in the National Championship game.
Texas will probably be getting a BCS spot as should USC and Boise State. ND looks to just miss the cut.

really glad that LSU lost, they just didn't deserve to be ranked that high. Now Saturday will be interesting with all of these 1 loss teams. and on this game, I can't believe how many 3 downs were dropped by receivers that could have been a 1st down, there probably were about 10 in this game. and LSU, when they had the chance to put the game away, they were 3 and out 6 times in a row. in ending, just a bad game and i am glad that neither will be in the top rankings next week.

Florida does seem likely at the moment but USC could make a big move knocking out ND and CAL or AR could take out FL in the sec title and free up some other team like USC or TX or worst of all MI and/or OSU lay an egg a weak before the game of the year.

big day getting ready to start, curious to see how USC plays in their next 4 tough games, 3 in top 25 and UCLA, especially now that they are finally healthy.

As much as I like USC, I think their remaining schedule is too difficult. Oregon, Cal, ND and UCLA...not exactly a bunch of cupcakes and I think one loss in there is likely. Again, Texas seems to have the easiest road into the title game as the Big-12 is down.
