Zidane will be killes by the French press. I hope we'll get the truth behind what triggered him. And I hope it is a nasty truth. Will be interesting to see what the corrupt italian justice will do with the corrupt italian teams like Juve. I fear a scandalous amnesty or something like that

My condolences are with South Africa. There's no way they will be able to match Germany's tournament.

In all honesty, can Italy look back and say that they've done well? I can think of only Germany, Argentina, Ghana, and Trinidad who will leave this tournament as winners, and to a lesser extent Portugal.
But it's the WC right?

Well, that's the problem of the WC. Best teams met in the quarter final. In 2002 Germany wasn't a deserving finalist neither

It doesn't matter what trash talking goes on. He could've said that he's gonna rape his wife, his mother, and his kids. You can't do that in an important game. You gotta have your head on straight in the final and most important game of your career.

Agreed. But as always the guy who started it gets royal treatment and goes unpunished. Like with Frings

This WC has left me very disillusioned about football. There's so much that is wrong, it's best to just shrug it off and acknowledge the good.
And my God, look at that stadium! Magnificent! Bravo to Germany for their organization! Superb facilities.

I'll tell you the truth, I didn't watch the entire game so I missed it if their was any earlier pushing and shoving going on with the two players earlier. Was there any hostility between them before that play?

There must have been some kind of exchange. And there was, we just don't know what was said. But you have basically arguably the best player of the last 25 years doing something incredibely stupid and juvenile.

No, but he was clearly mouthing towards Zidane. They had a little problem with each other, than Zidane went away from him, Materazzi mouthed something to him, Zidane turned on his heel and morphed into the Juggernaut. It can't have been something like You stink or something

Basically, the Holland vs. Portugal match, which was so much nastier than anything else we've seen, I lost respect for both teams. And Ronaldo's behaviour after that game does not help either. The faking is whatturned me off Henry and Totti as well. It's just so repulsive.

I saw the entire confrontation between Zidane and the player from Italy with the little shoving and grabbing of the jersies and then the incident that happened but like nothing was going on between then during the first two halves?

You know what I want? I want a new team to win. How about Holland for once?
I think I'm going to support England for 2010. But it's still so long away. But imagine an England without Erikkson. They could actually win

but too name a few, Malouda from France and Zidane.....
Italy -> Iaquinta (dunno if its spelled this way)
Brasil -> Kaka or Ronaldinho
Spain - >Fernando Torres
Marfin Coast - > Drogba
i could go on a few, but you get the point, what i mean with this is, stop making a storm in a glass of water....its pathetic
