magnus calm down. they take this thread and movie as a joke, and itll all be worth it when were right and their wrong. chill, i didnt start anything. they look at this thread as a joke and it totally supports the theory they favor other movies, as we know theyd never joke around like this in the x3 or pirates thread. people here just wanna see pirates clean house and maul everyone, and that includes not having superman do well. unrealistic, yes. but their judgements clouded. they look at the ite ins as if their a joke when if they were for x3 there would be "NOW THATS GOOD MAKREING" shit like that, or "cool". in the pirates threead you show jack sparrow on a cereal box cover they say "AWESOME!"and theyd never make jokes about, but is not for x3 por pirates its for superman and they dont like him so of course thats not good marketing. and they can say its not true but it is, there are certain poster here whose dislike of superman completely effects their predictions just as much as sayt revultions likeness of the character effects his predictions. realisticly common sense tells you a film with this much marketing, this popular of a hero, and a july 4th date would cross 200 million EASILY. But most have its predicts under 200 million, and thats because of PERSONAL PREFERENCE to pirates 2. like or not. the same way they accuse us of finding a way to make something bad into a positive thing, (like rev. syaing the first theatrical trailer was good-LOL), they find a way to make something good negative(the huge amount of tie ins isnt good marketing because its just funny) just because they WANT THE MOVIE TO FAIL.

'cause ya know, every film gets this super huge treatment this film getting. and by every film i mean the only films that have gotten this every where treatment recently-kong, episode 3, spiderman 2, matrix reloaded, spiderman, attack of the clones, episode 1...but ya know what i guess all that means nothing cause reguardless of any marketing, pirates will still win so thats enough reason to say superman wont cross 200 million. simple as that magnus, dont you know?

people here favor movies to others, and it effects their early movie predictions, especially and most notably in this case. they only seem to get them right-or closer to the truth-when the movies comes out.


you know anything under 200 million is a total joke of a prediction, but there too many people here. im probably leaving all june just to come back on the june 20th and see the people still try to ignore or put down the buzz.

I love that because most people think the movie will make a reasonable 200m-220 and that PotC is gonna beat it that we are either haters or PotC2 fanboys.

I left the club after the trailer. It might to either way, but I'm certainly not in.

Alone the fact that this thread is one of the biggest in the boxoffice section (at least in the recent time; btw double the pages that DVC has) should show you that Superman is gonna be huge.
I mean me and my buddies skiped X3 but we are all waiting for Supes. Now when that doesnt mean a lot.

It's safe to say that hardcore X-Men fans will not see Superman, as Singer abandoned them.

So that's a big chunk out of the total right there

The size of this thread has no correlation with how well the film will do. 50% of the posts are excel's, 25% between the other Superman fanatics, and the final 25% being the ones arguing with the fantatics.

People should join Kill and I in the unofficial $200-250 million club. It's safe and realistic. Anyone predicting Superman Returns to make less than Fantastic Four or more than The Matrix Reloaded, it's not going to happen.
