ah, tribe bounces back nicely. a sweet 8-2 win over the sawks. westbrook and the bullpen were solid, and aaron boone and casey blake are showing signs of having much better years this year....which would be huge.

Boone has 4 hits, Blake on base 5 times??? What's going on?

I didn't even know it was a day game today though  . Wish I could've seen it.

Beckett looked very good in his Sox debut tonight. He struggle at first, but went on to have seven innings of one run baseball. Too bad the Sox offense couldn't make it more comfortable for him. Hopefully they'll hang on and give him his first win.

BoSox win again, 5-3 in the home opener. Fenway has never looked better, and neither has this pitching staff with the way it has performed in the first seven games. Hopefully they'll keep it up through the season. Nice to see Beckett get his second win.

BoSox lost again last night, but at least they made it close in the 8th and in the 9th unlike the night before. They scored 2 in the 8th and three in the 9th to make it 8-6, but they still fell short. At least we have the Mariners coming into town. They sould be a little bit easier to play against unlike the Blue Jays. Another bright spot for tonight's game is that Schilling is on the mound tonight. He's going against the ace of the Mariners, but the Sox have beaten Moyer before. If Manny finally gets his head out of his ass and starts hitting the ball, they should be in good shape tonight, that's if it doesn't rain.

damn Shelton!

And I thought we got rid of Kevin Millwood. What's up with this not scoring?

And along with the 3 way tie, we have the 3 top home run hitters in the AL. Shelton is first and Hafner/Thome are tied for 2nd.

Javier Vasquez had a no hitter until the 7th when Mentkievich checked his swing resulting in a slow roller down the third base line. Im glad Vasquez gave up a real hit in the 9th, or it would have felt like such a rip off.

BoSox win again 9-1. Schilling goes to a perfect 4-0. Hopefully Beckett follows suit, while Wakefield can get the win in between. 11-4 so far, and hopefully 12-4 after tomorrow night.

8 in a row for the Sox! It's about damn time they extend that winning streak to 9 games. We had 8 games in a row 3 times last year, and won 8 in a row in the playoffs.

The Tribe put a 15-3 spanking on the Red Sox today. I hope this will get the indians on a bit of a roll. Their pitching has been much improved the last couple days, and i hope it continues.
