Lol.

ESPN takes a long time to fully update their brackets.

No worries ... I am where I should be ... first place bitches!

Ok first off, the Syracuse post was having watched a little too much CBB and drank way too much CRN. I was just pissed ESPN had me in last place (although I wasn't really that far from it). Secondly, I hate doing brackets. I can watch CBB all year and my brother's girlfriend can have no clue. Yet she gets 14/16 and I get 10/16 (although she does have Tennesee and BE in the Final Four, so she may be in trouble). Lastly, you can have an idea highly rated team A is in trouble (Tennesee/BC), but you don't get anything for spotting it if they win by one point or in OT, yet some clueless person can pick those teams and be shocked it is a close game. There seems to be a diminishing return in watching college basketball in bracket picks.

Thursday observations, Winthrop's coach is awful. He lost that game for them yesterday. He should have called a timeout when they went on the 6 1/2 minute drought. I would have called a timeout around the 5 minute mark. My brother was watching the game seperately and he thought the same thing. They were tired, couldn't get up the court, and were playing heavy minutes. 4 of them played over 33 minutes and Bradshaw and Shuler played 35+ minutes which is too much to expect against a physical athletic squad like Tenn., unless you help them out with timeouts. Never pick Steve Fisher, he is lousy when it comes to in game decisions. Zags can't play defense, but they are fun to watch.

Teams in trouble: Tennesee, BC (if BC can get out of SLC they might be in good shape, they don't playe great D), and perhaps Illinois (AFA is awful, they should have blown them out)

Teams that looked impressive: Florida, UCLA, Wichita St. winning by 20+ is the new blowout in the NCAA. The days when Kentucky or Kansas put 108-55 beatings on Prairie View or Mount St. Mary's are over.

I didn't pick Indiana, but they look like they might be able to go on a run. I just feel like they are going to win a bunch of close games before they bow out. They got a good draw.

So, let's see...

UCLA beats Belmont by 34.

Washington is the only 5 seed to advance yesterday, and they do so by 14.

Arizona is currently drilling Wisconsin by 24.

Anyone wanna take back all the crap they talked about the PAC-10 this year?

I would dissagree on Indiana, Gonzaga should handle them. The game will be close, but I see the zags by a solid 6.

I think the Zags are better, but I remember what Indiana did in 2002, when they ran the table to make the Championship game. I don't think they were even a top 20 team that year, but they were able to get lucky in every game. I just feel like the same thing is happening this year. I am rooting for the Zags, I would love to see them go far, I really enjoy watching them.

The Big 10 is faltering as Wisconsin and Iowa have both lost. Ohio State did its duty though.

It's funny Indiana supposedly wants Alford, but his NCAA record is 3-4 and Mike Davis is 7-3.

That was an awesome shot by Northwestern St. What a great comeback too after being down by 12 in the first half, fighting back, and then coming back AGAIN from 17 in the second half. This is what the NCAA tournament is all about!

Is anyone else watching the 'Nova/Monmouth game? How much of a douche is Billy Packer? "I put this game away before it started." Fuck you.

He's so negative and one-sided in his commentary it's sickening.

I fucking hate Billy Packer. The worst commentator in sports, IMO. He's so biased towards the power conferences. He'll be riding Connecticut's nuts ALL tourney, I guarantee you that much.

One of the many reasons I hope UAB knocks 'em out in the second round.

Albany is in the middle of a 10-0 run, and they have a seven point lead.

Billy Packer = sweating.
