One of the worst Superbowls i've seen in a long time.
Even the commercials sucked.
The commercials always suck.

So there's a lot of debate going on right now about whether this was the worst Super Bowl ever.
What do you guys think?
I think that, as far both teams performing as bad as they possibly could, it might be. However, at least it was close in the fourth quarter. Games like 49ers/Broncos (55/10), Dallas/Buffalo (52/17), Baltimore/NY Giants (34/7), and Chicago/New England (46/10) were total blowouts that were never close. At least one team bothered to show up in those games, though. This year was just so terribly played, officiated, and coached all across the board. Both teams stunk it up, and you got the feeling from watching the game that there was no way these were the two best teams in the NFL.
So, I dunno... i'm not sure if I would call it the worst ever (that might go to the Baltimore/NY Giants game), but it's damn close. What a letdown from the great Super Bowls we've had lately.

But Pittsburgh won, and that's all that matters.

It didn't really feel like Pittsburgh won, bad calls aside. They weren't alive at all.
I dunno, I feel that this Super Bowl was more defined by the (lack of) energy of the losing team. That if there were a page in the encyclopedia with the winners of each Superbowl, I'd put Seattle Seahawks down with "LOSER" in parenthesis.
I hope that makes sense.

Ben wasn't, that's for sure. And Palamalu certainly wasn't as good as he had been, but there was a few spurts of life that I think were more than the Seahawks had. I agree that it was not the most interesting games, but it was fun (at least for me). It helps that I am a huge fan of the winning team, I guess. Plus, it's something that they overcame just barely making the playoffs and winning three road games. They may not have played their best, but the previous 3 games proved that they deserved to be there.

but Pittsburg made the plays when they had to.
I haven't really watched them play this year so I don't know whether the junk / gadget plays are a big part of their game or they just lucked out.
Cause there were a bunch of plays - the 2 quarterback runs, the shuffle pass, the double reverse, etc. that were finger tips away from not working but they did and Pittsburg won the game.
