Tribe ties it in the 9th! There entire season is probably going to be determined by if they win tonight.

no talk about Boston / Yanks.
anyway - Boston up by 2 in 9 with 2 outs - Jeter up as the tying run and he already has 1 homer.
if Boston wins - they are tied with 2 to go.
*********************
Jeter grounds out.

Can we get a REAL first basemen and dump the part time player with marginal talent? I knew Broussard wasn't going to come through. He's the poster boy for mediocrity.

Wow, can't believe Astros blew it in the 9th at home. I'm pulling for Phillies to make the race interesting anyway.
I'm baffled how Clelevand didn't the winning score in the 9th when it took White Sox forever to chase down the double play. In that case, you should always try to score before the third out when the third out is certain; at least force the defense to make a throw. And probably no need to talk about the base-loaded situation in the 11th...but try something different, like squeeze or something.

Goodnight Cleveland. You choked BIG TIME, so I guess all those fans that didn't bother showing up for games this year saw it coming. When Sapiro gets a real right fielder and first baseman, maybe they'll be able to play with the big boys.

gee how did i not see that coming. anyone who is a cleveland fan MUST learn that you're in for nothing but heartache and disappointment. the quicker you learn not to get your hopes up, the easier you can ease the pain. well, this season is pretty much down the toilet in fine cleveland chokejob style. now watch, i bet now we score a run in the 13th and lose 3-2. that would be classic

cleveland needs to win two straight and sox or yanks have to lose two straight to guarentee them a play-off spot...most likely occurrence: cleveland being odd man out and yanks and red sox having a play off to determine the wild card

Cleveland flushed it's season down the toilet when they were beaten 3 straight games by two last place teams when they needed to win most. I can't wait to hear the excuses and positive spin that the ass kissing media and Shapiro and Wedge try to put on this choke. What are the plans once Millwood walks, the team isn't healthy like they were this season, and they don't try to outbid anybody for any free agents?

If Cleveland finishes one game behand both Yankees and Red Sox, there won't be an extra game between those two. Whoever won the season series is the division champion.
