I subscribed on Sunday but it's still scambled, they better fix before next Saturday. not yet, i'm probably getting ART, meanwhile i just download the games.
I'm not getting ART this year, Al Jazeera sport is much more valuable. The Italian League + The Spanish League + The Portuguese League + the English cup for 3$/month is much better than The EPL + The Frence League + The German League + The Dutch League + The Champions League + The Italian Cup for 10.4$/month.

Yeah but i need to get a new reciever(i already have a regular one, and 2 orbit ones) for al jazeera to work, and you get al jazeera for free(i think) when you get art, so that means you get every single football competetion in one subscription, plus art have the World Cup, so i will have to register sooner or later.
btw i cant believe no one mentioned the champions league, lyon sadly beat madrid 3-0.

a team is made by 11 players , not 11 names. Real Madrid is a freak show, everybody makes fun of it....Lyon is an excelent team, they got they deserved.

Ah yes, I totally forgot about the World Cup. I'm counting on a last minute decision to show it for free on the Egyptian TV. If not, I guess I'll have to subscribe. guti wrote: btw i cant believe no one mentioned the champions league, lyon sadly beat madrid 3-0.
Although I'm not a fan Real, I have to admit they were unlucky in that game, they were totally dominating in the first 15 minutes, and then the first goal brought them down. And BTW, Carew is a great player, I wonder why he doesn't play for a bigger team. And was Ronaldo injured or something?

I just read Zidane and Roy Keane won't be able to play for the next 3 & 4 weeks, respectively.

What is happening in the Spanish league?
And all the teams I'm supporting did pretty bad this week. AC Milan, Barcelona, and Manchester.

Failed on all three spanish matches.
Btw ahmed, wouldn't call Manchester's week pretty bad...wouldn't call it bad either. Two scorless draws, but against good teams.
I'm satisfied.

I totally agree with you Nebs, but I actually I was hoping for a win, that's why I was disappointed. Liverpool is a good team but is not at his the best atm. Again, injuries are starting to hurt Man U. And Chelsea is now at least 4 points away from Man U.

Real Madrid is always chaging coach, the problem isnt the coach, its the players that think they're names are above all and others must bow down to them, its really anoying.
the way they play is proof of that, any team can beat them, and i mean any team.
Theres only one coach that would put they're superior model asses in line, and thats Jose Mourinho. They could be a dream team, instead they're just 11 guys that are beaten every weekend, and they dont know why .
Just Play Football dammit!

Which players would you say are the big names performing badly?
Beckham - out of position but playing good balls
Zizi - Getting old?
Raul - Name only?
R. Carlos - ^^
Ronaldo - still looks good to me
Helguera - On his way to England in January?
Cassilas - ^^
Woodgate - Waste of money, injury prone and may not be good enough.
Graveson - Best buy of the year
Figo - Gone.
There are a few relics in the team (Zidane, Helguera, Carlos, Raul, Casi), but overall the team is good, minus the crap defense. They need a decent back 4, I think i'm correct that Ivan Helguera's contract runs out in June, so most probably he'll go in January, hinting an English team. Same thing with Cassilas? Arsenal are after him desparately. That leaves Woodgate. Never really came across as £12million good. BIG waste of money. They could've got Sol Campbell for half that money. End of the day, it has to be the managers fault. He should field the correct players, not feel pushed to play the big names (Raul etc) if they are not in form.
Btw, how are the 2 new Brazilians playing??

You didn't ask me, but here's what I think.
Robinho: Good, give him some time, and he could become the Ronaldinho of Real. I'm really looking forward to seeing play alongside Zidane.
Baptista: CRAP.

Yeah, I heard Robinho's showing like sparks of what he was doing in Brazil, but do you think the jump from Santos to La liga was too much, too quick? It seems he's not too much of a team player. What Real are missing, imo is Owen. They don't have an out and out striker at the moment do they? One of Reals problems I think is that they don't seem to play with wingers. Seems the play like 4-2-2-2 through the middle. R. Carlos gets up there buts he's a wing-back, leaves his spot exposed. They could put Beckham on the right, but then again he is getting old. Figo could've gone on the left if he was still there. Figo and Beckham on the wings - perfect.
I'm glad we didn't buy him afterall then.
Btw, just for you; Mido was cleared by the FA for improper conduct against Chelsea. Meaning he gets a 3 game ban, rather than 4. We'll be seeing him on Saturday

Couldn't agree more. This is what I said on the 3rd page of this thread Quote: I don't know what about everyone else, but I feel Robinho won't be that useful to Madrid. He's hugely talented, but he's way too thin. He should grow some muscles before playing effectivey in an European league. That's why I said he needed some time. This time could be several months. hans wrote: What Real are missing, imo is Owen. They don't have an out and out striker at the moment do they?

Owen was great last season. But as far as I know, Raul HAS to play, even if he's crap. So Owen had to leave, because Ronaldo was also doing pretty good at the end of last season. Raul started this season really well, but went downhill in the last 3 matches. hans wrote: Btw, just for you; Mido was cleared by the FA for improper conduct against Chelsea. I know Really looking forward to the next game. I hope he does really well, because right now, Egypt needs him sooooooo much, Egypt's other striker, Emad Meteb scored yesterday his first goal in 5 matches. His average last season was .65 goals/match

hello peeps
As for Madrid:
1. Lux will stay it is just the beginning of the season, it means nothing, remember 2 seasons ago when madrid were great at the beginning then started to screw up towards the end of the season.
2. Robinho is adapting very fast to la liga and he has showed alot of potential and is on his way to becoming a great player (i will post clips of his skills with madrid later)
3. Baptista is very very good, dont know why you said he is crap, this guy is a monster he is amazing and he has a magical partnership with Robinho and Ronaldo, plus he is playing out of position.
4. As for the rest of the team, imo becks is our best player so far, eventhought he is out of position he works his ass off, unlike raul who seems lazy btw he is out of position too. Same applies for helguera he is out of position but he is playind very well, Salgado and Carlos are getting old but they get the job done plus we already have longterm replacements for them.
5. Barca suck.
6. We dont have many strikers actually we lack strikers, look at the lyon match, without ronaldo we were missing the last touch.
As for ManUre or ManUSA (jk) i think it is a great result to walk out of the Anfield with one point and a clean sheet.
All of you guys should join SoccerPulse, it is a great place to have many football debates and views(also non football related stuff), they have many nationalties but mostly English lads, but the other forums are also busy and live.

El Ahle, Egypt's best team. Last season, out of 26 games in the league, they won 24, and had draws in the other 2 games. So it's very easy for him to score. I don't know what's happening with him this season.

I have to disagree. Barca's always the most entertaining team to watch.
