dar wrote: Ahmed, I added you in case you wanna keep playing. If so, I guess there would be no problem in adding the lowest score overall till this round (that is, my former 17 points) to your score this round so you are not that much behind. That way you would have 8 points and would be more in contention. At least, as much as I am, which is not a lot, but hey...
No don't worry, the last place will definitely be mine. I'm very bad at predicting football results, and I'm sure the results of this round can tell you that
But yeah, I'd like to continue playing, so please add me to your list.

Yes. Look at the England team. On paper we have arguably the best team in the world at the moment : Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham, Rooney, Ferdinand, Terry, Owen, Cole, Wright Phillips, Robinson etc. But Erikson seems to have the ability to turn some of the best players in the world into complete idiots by putting them in the most ridiculous positions, just to satisfy his 'favourites' aka ; Beckham, Owen, Gerrard and Lamps. In last nights match he played 4-5-1, then 4-3-3, then 4-4-2 all in the same match. And he gets paid £5million a year by the FA, and im pretty sure he's the highest paid manager in the world atm. He must go. Now.

I agree with you, Portugal has the same problem, i dont even know why Scolari puts Figo Playing.....its behond my compreension. With Players like Simao, Quaresma, Ronaldo, and he insists in Figo....THE frickin 90 minutes. There are players that have they're seats guarded in the national teams, its simple as that.

I'd do these:
Manchester United vs Manchester City
Tottenham vs Liverpool
Middlesbrough vs Arsenal
Chelsea plays at home vs lowly Sunderland, so imo it's just a matter of how many goals they'll score. Those above seem more interesting.

Yeah, being a Real fan, I was not sad to see Figo go. His best is way behind him. In fact, I think he was already not so good in Euro2004.
It´s the same here in Spain with Raul, for example. It seems that no matter his form, he will always be in the starting eleven, till he retires, basically. Although, to be fair, he was good the other day and scored our only goal. And Its not that we have an abundance of strikers anyway.
I think It´s going to be difficult for Eriksson to improve England´s game or results. Sometimes after being for many years as a coach, there are signs that the cycle is over and time to move on has come, for both team and manager... It doesn´t look good for WC2006.

BTW, the third goal against Real Madrid is one of the most unbeliavanble refereeing decisions in the last few years. Just puzzling.

The ref also cancelled Robinho's goal, which wasnt off-side.

I've seen the goal, and obviously, it's a very stupid decision. It's kinda sad when referees start changing results of games while we're only in the second week of the league.
BTW guti how did you get to see the game, did you subscribe to Al Jazeera sport? I subscribed on Sunday but it's still scambled, they better fix before next Saturday.
