I'm sorry guys, that was a rumor.
The newspaper published an apology yesterday saying that the editor meant to say " Adriano is returning to INTER Milan after his vacation ", but the editor put AC instead of Inter.

I don't know what about everyone else, but I feel Robinho won't be that useful to Madrid.
He's hugely talented, but he's way too thin. He should grow some muscles before playing effectivey in an European league.

I didn't believe from the beginning, but I was hoping it would become true.
Just imagine Adriano playing beside Shevchenko, with Kaka behind them. A Dream team.

I actually think he won´t leave, not till the end of this season. I mean, he is quite likely going to be third striker (after Robinho and Ronaldo, Raul can play Midfield, as Baptista) and there will be injuries, abscences, etc...
But if he leaves, what makes you think he will join Spurs?

Well, most south american players do need some time to adapt to european leagues... But, in any case, what Robhino has to offer is ability and class, not strenght. They just signed Baptista for that (he is not nicknamed here "The beast" for nothing!)
But hey, time will tell...

Well, i'm 99% sure he will leave Real, and the only place he will go is The Premiership. I doubt he will go back to Liverpool. I did have a strong feeling he was going to join Spurs a few days ago as our board said we were going to break our club transfer record > 11million, and 11million is Owens valuation. But now it seems he is more likely he will go to Man U. Owen is over all the British paper back pages "begging" to leave seemingly.

Maybe you are right... I dunno, I don´t trust newspapers much concerning transfer deals till it´s the real thing, the confirmation. Otherwise bringing up names seems like such an easy way of raising sales...
I can´t see Owen going to man U (He is a true red, right?) and Arsenal and Real madrid don´t have the best relationship... so I don´t know. He won´t go to Chelsea and would he settle for anything else than CL at this point?

I think its not the CL on his mind, moreso the World Cup next summer. He needs first team football desperately, If he moves to the premiership he's pretty much guaranteed to be on the starting line-up of any team (apart from Chelsea, maybe). True red? Didn't stop Rooney moving to Man U. Gerrard was on the brink of moving a few months ago, 'luckily' they won the CL, that's all that's kept him there, but I don't see the Reds emulating what happened last season, so Gerrard should be on his way next year.

I´m confused... didn´t Rooney play for Everton?
Altough Gerrard may leave, that doesn´t mean he´ll go to ManU. I can´t see an icon like him or Owen joining the historic rivals. Neither I can see Owen not playing CL or going to a mid-table team.

Yeah Rooney played for Everton,('a true blue') but he said publicly he'd never leave them for Man U.
Gerrard wouldn't join Man U I think, Chelsea more likely. But Owen, I definately can see him wanting to join MAn U. And whats more, MAn U need him. They have what, 3 strikers? thats not enough for 3/4 competitions.
Its pretty much a certainty Owen will leave Real. i thinks it's quite sad cause the guy didn't put a foot wrong really. He was subbed on most matches and was their most consistent striker after Ronaldo.

I'm not sure how Real will cope defensively next season. With Samuel now gone and the almost inevitable reoccurrance of Woodgate's knee injury they're going to be left with Helguera and Pavon in central defence and Roberto Carlos at left back [-X. That is unless they sign someone of course. I fully expect them to but if they don't then I see them finishing 3rd or 4th at best.

Well, Samuel wasn´t succesful at all here. In fact, I think people prefer the Helguera-Pavon pairing. And we´ll see about Woodgate.
And don´t forget we have signed a defensive Centre MD like Pablo Garcia and we already have Gravesen, who helped a lot with defensive work on the second half of the last season. We ended up being the second team with less goals received (after Barça).
THat said, yes, I hope we sign somebody else in defence.

Read on the BBC something about Newcastle today... that sounds more plausible, IMO.

I heard that aswell, The manager said he wants goalscorers like Owen, Anelka and Viduka. It's a possibility with Newcastle, but if the doors open at Man U i'm he won't hesitate to accept. I mean there was the same situation with Rooney, either Man U or Newcastle, he chose Man U for obvious reasons.

Yep, but I thought that the rivalry between Liverpool-ManU was much bigger than that of Everton-ManU. Wouldn´t Owen going to Manu considered much more of a betrayal than Rooney´s move.
And also, does Owen really has a guaranteed place in the starting XI with ManU as he has with Newcastle. I mean, there is Van Nistelroy, Rooney, Alan Smith (even if apparently he is going to play in the Roy Keane position.. gasp!)... If the whole point is playing a lot for the World cup 2006, I´m not sure if Manchester is the best possible destination.

Thinking about it, Man U would be perfect for him. At the moment Van Nistelrooy isn't in good form, injured most of last season. Saha has never done too well since he joined, he might be sold soon imo. Owen and Rooney at the moment are Englands premier strike partners, so to link up at club level would only enhance their partnership.

Hmmm... interesting. So do you think Van Nistelrooy would take well being a sub, or in that case would he look forwatd to being transfered to a different team at the end of this season?
I still think Owen will stay though, but we´ll find out in the next two weeks or so, I guess!

Obviously no player wants to be a sub, but then again I cant see Van Nistlerooy moving, or wanting to move. Dont forget there are 4 competitions to play in.

Well, the same can be said about Owen in Real Madrid.
But again, only time will tell
