Excellent for RoTS, much better then many were expecting. Hopefully it will hold up well from this point on and should just barely pass $400 million, at this point at least.

Great for Revenge of the Sith. It held up better than Attack of the Clones.

How much of its total gross, grossed AotC after this weekend...(excluding IMAX)
Ah. I see... it will drop a biter harder in comparison to 2002 with a lot 30 to 45% drops.

After the third weekend (excluding IMAX), Clones had $232,324,769, and went on to make another $70 million without IMAX for a total of $302 million. It's lookin' good for Sith, which should get another $80 million and finish with around $388 million.

Kingdom of Heaven most likely won't even crack $48M. What a flop.

Hitchhiker grossed $275k, and now missing around $740k for $50m. Think it'll reach it?

That's a very close one. It should, though. Discount theaters...

It made 200m worldwide... (it was not made for the domestic release - but most of you don't realize this imporant fact)

Think Libs thought of just domestic market.
If we factor in international gross, DVD sales, rentals, etc., not that many flops would be there which we now think they are.

Yeah, I realize it's not *really* a flop.
Only domestically.
Still, though. I was expecting a good $60M more than that.

I agree Sam. Worldwide, European, Asian or whatever are even more important than just the domestic gross.
That even saved 'Alexander' from disastrous numbers.

Daniel you are aware that your sig says 2006 instead of 2005 right?
Pretty solid for Star Wars, The phantom Menace is catching up.

Yeah me too - I thought 60-75m would be a lock for this movie... but oh well... the R Rating was a bad choice (boxofficewise)...

Not bad at all for Madagascar.
It should pass Shark Tale. I can't see it going over $175m, though.

I'm asctually a little perplexed with Sith. It had a better hold than Clones, increased more on Friday than Clones did but had a 25% less increase on Saturday than Clones did. I don't get the numbers. It really is a strange film in terms of percentage drops and increases.

It is in line with last year's weekend increases. Higher Friday increase followed by a lower Saturday increase.

A decent number for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. $35M would be a profitable total.
Also, another great hold for Crash. I'm hoping it can make $50M.

I don't see how SISTERHOOD only had a slight increase on Saturday. It should have increased more than that. Hopefully the actual weekend number will be a little higher.
Great hold for CRASH! And it was even up against another adult movie, CINDERELLA MAN. I actually predicted 3.3 Million for the weekend.
