Um...the hell?
I suppose the fact *you* consider Alias was stronger makes that fact...

Isnt that implied when you post something on a forum unless i say its a fact?
Alias is enjoying its best season ever imho, well maybe equal to season one; i find it very dissapointing that its not even garnered one nomination. Didnt it even get nominated for last year?

I was referring to the fact you seemed to be calling the association out for not nominating Alias as if it's ludicrous not to. I mean, they obviously liked 24 more.

Which is silly because ive been watching both shows this season and for me theres no comparison. "24" has been devoid of any buzz for a good reason this year and im almost ready to give up on it.

Asked first but unanswered so I will fill in the blanks.

Goldie, very astute.
No real factors other than very subjective personal opinion.

Yeah, I think that just because you're a fan of Alias and think it's better don't make it so by any means. It's like me yelling that there's no reason Lost shouldn't be getting better ratings then American Idol. Just because I like it more doesn't mean it automatically will get more viewers

LOL Michael, which season of 24 are you watching again???
Season 4 here is considered by many critics and fans as THE best since season 1. And they're more enthusiastic than the pro-Alias people - who also consider the recently concluded Alias season has improved from the previous.

During the middle of the season, I didn't really think Matthew Fox would get any award recognition. But, he's a lot better than I thought he was. Terry O'Quinn (Locke) deserves it more (IMHO), but Fox is deserving, as well.

Apparently because i like on tv show im not allowed to like another and have a valid opinon on it so whatever.
People just dismiss others opinons when they like something - are we not supposed to have likes and dislikes? Isnt that supposed to be reflected in our personalities?
Oh no, people take it as an opportunity to climb a high horse and cry bias. Sure im bias towards a favourite tv show. Im not a robot; and i wish people on movie websites would stop trying to be so sterile about their tastes as well.
I just feel 24's lost the excitement that it had in its premiere season; and ive been watching it on/off for the past season. My aunt lent me her box sets of the show and ill admit i never was quite as gripped as i was by Alias; but i still think its a very well made tv show with a lot going for it . I just dont think that its as accomplished, well acted, well made or well written as Alias and it places too much of its storytelling on its unique structure [which has lost its novelty now]
Sure people are going to disagree with me, sure ive always like Alias a lot more; but in terms of production - I can't see why people are awarding 24 over Alias.
