From where?
And, if it's true, that's not a great increase for Star Wars or Madagascar...

I don't know how to do the chart all that well. So if someone wants to go ahead and do the chart, that would be great.

Pretty much all of the movies had bad increase but The Interpreter, Kingdom of Heaven and Hitchhiker's.
Might be better drops next weekend. :-)

That's just what I expected for RotS. Pretty weak for the openers (although TLY already exceeded expectations so it's not really bad for it) and for a lot of the other movies...

Looks like The Longest Yard is holding up well in it's 2 day fight with Madagascar including the family Saturday.

Crash.
Also, I don't know why everyone's surprised. Today is going to behave like another Saturday, so logically the increases would be lower than normal for Saturday.

Even though Clones increased by about 45%, this number is still not shocking or really that disappointing. It is a 20 mill Saturday, it is is at 236, once the Memorial Day numbers are tabulated, the film will be right around 270 mill.

What did I predict about weak increases?
More schools were out this week then at this time in previous years as shown in the Thursday numbers. As a result the Friday Matinees were higher then they would normally be which caused these low Saturday increases.
Still, that sucks for Madagascar. I thought it would do 35% at a minimum. :???:

Would it be possible for Madagascar to drop really low today (5% or less) or even increase?

Props to DP07, he called the lower Saturday increases all around due to the school pattern.
I think SITH has the 3 and 4 day locked up now.
Crash continues its impressive run. Hitchhiker had a nice comeback as well. Its hopes for 50M may not be dead yet.

I think so. We'll need to project again.

Unleashed made an interesting amount.
I would comment on the increases, but baumer had to go an edit the post and make it look awful...
