Shrek 2 was so overrated.

I'm praying that it beats Shrek 2 on the domestic charts. Having it at #3 has bothered me for the past year...

Why? Shrek 2 really deserved it. It wasn't the greatest film of all time but it was finally a film that everyone can enjoy. You guys got it wrong when you saw that it was making so much and then assumed it was the best picture of all-time.

Amazing that it was so correctly estimated. I'm so happy for Sith. Can't wait to see how it holds up during the week, not to mention next weekend!

Am I that moronic that I think two other films reached $400 million this year?
Duh, Zingy. I know.

There is no reason to belittle Shrek 2 because it completely beat up on crappy Pixar movies.

TPM fell 50% and AOTC fell 56%, but this film is already out performing AOTC in terms of legs especaily with its electifying 16% sunday drop so i expect it to be more on par with TPM

What do you see in Shrek 2 that you don't see in Pixar movies?
Pixar movies, to me, have always been fresh and funny. With the exception of A Bug's Life. DreamWorks did a better job with Antz.

Shrek 2 is one of the most overrated films ever. I can't believe some people actually think it is better than the first. The first Shrek is great, the second one was a huge let down for me, personally. Not nearly as good as hyped, and rather boring. Not really any laugh out loud moments.
PEACE, Mike

We can now trust Fox again b/c their estimate was right on the money with only being .1 off. ROTS Sunday drop was actually better than what was first estimated. Next weekend Shrek 2's 2nd highest weekend of 72.2 will fall to the Sith. =D>
