1. Madagascar 65/80
2. Star Wars 55/68
3. Longest Yard 40/50
4. Monster in law 10/12
5. Kicking and .. 9/11
Top 5: 179/221
Should just squeek past last year...
Sadly, even though Star Wars will debut with over 100 million for this 3-day weekend, we are still going to be down over last year, when Shrek opened at 108 million...

Yeah, and I still don't see why you think War of the Worlds will open to over $80 million.

Everyone is so lowballing The Longest Yard. Adam Sandler is as consistant as an actor can be. Almost all of his big comedies (after 1998) have opened to over $35 million. I don't see why The Longest Yard, a football movie on Memorial Day weekend (with Chris Rock) would do less than that for the 3-day weekend.

Yes, Yes I have and a great deal of them were at SITH which is how it will be again Memorial Day Weekend.. I think Madagascar will get lost in the shuffle since the marketing for it is piss poor.. Get used to seeing SITH dominate like I said til BATMAN comes out.. I think it's going to enjoy several weeks at #1..

I don't.. I don't think Madagascar is going to do as well as some of you think just because it's a cartoon..

the trailer looks good and WAY better than Robots, Shark Tale, the TV spots are good, the kids are out of school, its a CGI movie, theres no other kiddie movie right know and its the summer!
i have a fealing Madagascar wont be #1 next week im actually 50/50 on that, but i dont think it will do poorly just because of ROTS
