Last time a Kidman movie did over 100m was surprise surprise Batman Forever ( 184m )which had nothing to do with her being in it. Batman Begins will be passing 120 in 7days.

War of the World's opening weekend is in July. So it will be predicted in a July thread.

It OPENS in June. Not July.
Ugh. Nevermind. It's pointless to argue.

Good point. This can be predicted in both this thread and a future July thread.

Most others are predicting a 5 to 12 Opening with totals of about 25.
I am wondering if this movie will attract the black moviegoers - cause then lots of people's numbers are too low.

If a movie is released for 24 hours on a day, even it's only one, then it's counted as a release of that month. Spider-Man 2 opened on the last day of June but it's still a June release. Anyways:
June 1st:
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Wed. release) 20/26/90
June 3rd:
Cinderella Man 24/105
High Tension 13/30 (or 40, depending on the WOM)
Lords of Dogtown 18/65
June 10th:
The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl (3D) 27/90
Mr. and Mrs. Smith 36/100
The Honeymooners 15/42
June 15th:
Batman Begins (Wed. release) 65/105/230
June 17th:
The Perfect Man 8/23
June 22nd:
Herbie: Fully Loaded (Wed. release) 18/24/80
June 24th:
Bewitched 24/70
Land of the Dead 28/70
June 30th:
War of the Worlds: 70/115/280 (My logic: Three fourths of Spider-Man 2's total, slightly lower opening ratio wise but slightly better legs thanks to no sequelitis and more adult appeal)
