Re: World of KJ Box Office Draft 2023 Surely January movies are the safest, no? They are the closest ones to the start of the game and therefore the least likely to move/most likely to already have a trailer etc.

Re: World of KJ Box Office Draft 2023 Yeah but any movie I picked as a replacement surely would do better than House Party? The Boogeyman wasn't even in the draft and will probably make more than a lot of 3rd/4th/5th round picks. Five Nights At Freddys could end up having Halloween to itself if Exorcist is a big mess like the rumors indicate.

I know, a bit strange, but they do try to disguise plots and things with working titles, and I'm sure when we see the movie we'll get it. Re: World of KJ Box Office Draft 2023 Nice! If Ghostbusters can at least match the last one, I could still be in this. I need Hunger Games to probably do up to $200 million or so though.
stuffp looks tough to beat with Mario, but if Oppenheimer does sub-$150 million, I don't think he's uncatchable for many.
We may not know who's going to win this time until December. It's like most that chose a good first/second round pick are having their lower picks disappoint; and those with disappointing first/second round picks are having their lower picks do pretty well. So it's pretty well balanced so far.

Re: World of KJ Box Office Draft 2023 Kudos on your gamble paying off. You're definitely back in this now, although now it's coming out this year I don't think Ghostbusters is your iffy one, it's Hunger Games. It just really feels like that whole thing has passed, and it's too early for a revisit.

And I no longer see myself winning this. It's stuffp's, imo. The Flash disappointing and Rise of the Beasts opening well but not sustaining that with its weekdays has really hurt my confidence. I'll get second place with ease, I feel, but first will need some remarkable legs from those aforementioned films or a mega gross from Dead Reckoning.
