 Thursday Previews
Ticket to Paradise- 1.1m
Seems solid. High teens possible. Can't imagine its multiplier is worse than Downton Abbey 2

25m OD and 60m OW look good! 65m OW possible, though 70m seems out of reach

 Re: Thursday Previews
Think its decent enough. This feels much more like a Rock vehicle than a superhero charged movie.

 Re: Thursday Previews
Will be Rock's 15th $100M+ film in 11 years since he joined the Fast franchise. This OW is probably 90% him and 9.9% lack of competition and 0.1% DC.

walk ups were quite good and WOM seems strong, thinking 65-70m.

 Re: Thursday Previews
I'd imagine $60 mil is safe with that number. Was hoping for $70+ mil, but alas. Has a pretty good 88% audience score on RT. Don't really track those, so I'm not sure how that compares to other films (and I imagine the Snyder cult positively review bombed this due to reasons)

 Re: Thursday Previews
This weekend overall will be a lot of fun between BP, Ticket and the horror trifecta: Thursday #'s
Smile $1,062,103 -1% -30% Halloween Ends $1,015,105 -20% Terrifier 2 $202,000 -13% +531% Terrifier's Thurs numbers are not that far off from last Friday. Seems like its set for a very nice weekend ahead. Halloween is almost under $1M already. Smile only dipped 1% on Thur despite two openers that will do $75M+. Looks like its set for another great weekend.

 Re: Thursday Previews
Halloween's drop is alarming, but what about Smile! Stayed above $1 million. Quite astonishing.
Anyway, this looks to be an interesting weekend. My eyes are only on Smile, though. Its hold is surely going to be impressive.

I cannot make sense of Terrifier 2's numbers. It is one crazy run.

 Re: Thursday Previews
Basically Halloween Ends will struggle to out-gross Morbius at this rate. That feels like its level, not Smile.

 Re: Thursday Previews
This probably opens to $75m if it stays in July as it was, and no doubt has better legs there. The release date change looks extremely foolish.

 Re: Thursday Previews
TTP isn't bad. If it follows Lost City's multiple would be about $18.5M but can see it do low 20's since the audience may skew older if Tatum drove people to see TLC. BA is solid all things considered. A teaser for BP in 3 weeks! Halloween's Friday drop is 87% . Should stabilize to 78% according to Deadline. Smile down 29% in the mean time and should get past Halloween. Bring on Wakanda!!!

 Re: Thursday Previews
Black Adam is now at 42% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's only three percent above last week's big flop. I wonder how much the critical slaying will affect its second weekend drop.

 Re: Thursday Previews
1 Black Adam $26.8 2 Ticket to Paradise $6.4M 3 Smile $2.57M -32% $78.53M 4 Halloween Ends $2.47 -88% $48.65 5 Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile $1.185M -41% $25.70M 6 Terrifier 2 $0.546M +118% $3.91M 7 The Woman King $0.520M -49% $61.5M 8 Amsterdam $0.257M -71% $13.36M 9 Barbarian $0.176M -56% $39.73M 10 TÁR $0.150M +34% $0.855M 11 Top Gun: Maverick $0.08M -60% $716.11M 12 The Banshees of Inisherin $0.067 M $16.75K PTA 13 Bros $0.064M -78% $11.325M 14 Minions: The Rise of Gru $0.06M -39% $368.62M
Well TGM finally left the top 10 and had it's worst weekly drop of its run. Lost theaters and BA had a big impact.

good for both openers, though TTP wont crack 20m with that. it could do high teens though. it should stay flat or increase on Saturday

 Re: Thursday Previews
Terrifier has to be the biggest winner of the weekend. Almost a top 5 showing. Could make $2.24M this weekend if it follows last week's dailies. It's 16th day is it's biggest day of its run so far by 28%! It's PTA on Friday was the strongest of its run yet. With Halloween could go further up next weekend. It will be at a 7.0 multiplier by the end of the weekend and costing only $250K could very well do $10M or more for 40X it's budget. This is a fascinating run to watch that seemingly has come out of nowhere.

 Re: Thursday Previews
Yeah, it's a strange one. When the first one came out I didn't understand why it wasn't more popular. It seemed, to me, ripe for a new horror cult following. Maybe it would have if released theatrically.
