 I Am Legend 2 This feels very random but apparently I Am Legend 2 is now happening. They've all signed and now looking for a director. Looks like Smith's post Oscar film. Quote: EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros. is upping the stakes on its I Am Legend franchise to a stratospheric level. For its next chapter, the studio is bringing back not only original star Will Smith but also Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan in what will rep the duo’s first big movie together as stars and producers. How will this do? The first one was massive but that was peak Smith. Re: I Am Legend 2 It's either going to be a massive watercooler pop culture phenom or flop if its too dark and people don't want to relieve the early 2020s. I don't see much middle ground here.

Re: I Am Legend 2 First reaction: Bomb since it's been so long, and while the first film did well, is it really remembered by many?
But it's at least interesting enough to not write it off entirely without knowing more.

Although maybe it's too early for 00s nostalgia sequels while we're still working through the 90s. They've got Lethal Weapon 5 to get across the line yet.

Maybe make I, Robot 2 in the AI era.
