Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
This is the problem with a lot of people. It doesn’t matter if someone is moderate or what their politics are. This is not a disagreement with policies, Giuliani took part in a plot to over throw an election.

The Masked Singer has Nick Cannon as its host, so Guliani isn't too big of a reach honestly. Whoopi will be on there next season. Book it now.

Maybe they’ll get Kim Jong-un and when people protest that you’ll see others get triggered.

Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
Is Stacey Abrams actually liked by anyone? Seems like every other establishment hypocrite Democrat, but she's only ever lost a governor race. She's never held office outside of State Rep. She and Beto O Rourke are competing for the biggest unelected hack in the Democrat party.

Now would be the time to do it. Might as well hit on all the things American actually agree about in this rare time of unity instead of focusing on what still divides us.

No masks, he didn't mention Trump once and said to Fund the Police. Progress?

The fund the police comment was probably one of his best moments

One of the worst moves Biden made was the first move he made, cancelling Keystone pipeline on first day, which was a lose all around as shipping oil by train is worse for the environment

Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
People cherry-picking the numbers that have increased under Biden to make the economy seem worse than it is are ridiculous, Zwack.
Call it like it. Inflation is happening primary due to the dramatic pay increases occurring on the lower and mid levels of labor. Companies are putting this increased production cost into their own prices. The resulting income growth has caused the stock market to grow rapidly, home values to grow rapidly, and overall networths to grow rapidly.
It is simple stupidity to see people saying things like "$4 gas? Biden sucks" when they should be saying "Whoa, my networth is up 15% in 12 months. Thanks Biden"

The most obvious reasons for inflation are covid related between the money being printed for pandemic relief and things like supply chain issues. The lockdowns were an extreme decision that was going to cause inevitable pain.

Inflation is a scam to keep money where it is. Let's charge people more for the same product and blame poor people for it.The problem is that wealth stops when it gets to certain people. If the money kept flowing, instead of being hoarded, there would be no problems with inflation.

Why do you think 1 US dollar is worth 6 Yuan and like 360 Zimbabwe dollars?

Yeah but isn't money only worth what we decide it is worth? And by we I mean people who already have a ton of it.
What does gold really do? Nothing.

Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
Also, the reason there would be more money is again because the money stops instead of constantly flowing. Therefore the government has to print more to provide basic services to its people. If our system didn't encourage wealth hoarding this would not happen.

Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
Actually yes my net worth has dramatically increased under Biden by close to double. My parents have almost tripled their net worth due to their stock value skyrocketing recently.
Unfortunately there are people who get paid millions of dollars to manipulate public perception which works great in a automatically polarized two party system.
This is why I will always be an independent.

Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
Also, yes the supply chain issues are certainly a factor in inflation. When you have less of something it goes up in price if demand does not go down. Basic economics. But the pandemic checks? That’s foolish to think a check here or there has any impact on inflation as it does not increase one’s actual net income over a period of time to have any real effect on inflation outside of political propaganda.

Re: The Biden era: The Establishment Strikes Back
As far as I know, my net worth has not increased lol. I do not own any assets. I make a salary and that is it. I still have college debt.
The gas has gone up so much recently because of Russia, but before that there is no reason that gas can't go back to the 2.75-$3 it was pre shutdown. IT's not just supply and demand, it's partially because of the environmental policies that gas is so much more expensive now.
