 Friday Estimates 22/21
I'm new to this, so don't crucify me, if I'm very off...
$19m+ AQP2 (definitely above AQP1's opening day of $18,861,111) $7.5m+ Cruella

 Re: Friday Estimates 22/21
Cruella has an A cinema score. Could see it have legs, but 100m would be difficult with a sub 30m OW.

 Re: Friday Estimates 22/21
Mark goes 1/1 in estimates. That's a huge opening for AQP2. I wonder how w big it would have been in regular times before the pandemic.

Paramount sold movies left and right to streamers all year long but always held on to AQP2 - They knew they had a winner...

A- is indeed pretty terrific CS and a very healthy RT score as well.

Obviously it was coming out a few days before theaters closed last year. I remember i had tickets to it but then it moved. I'm sure they knew how much it was tracking even before the pandemic started.

 Re: Friday Estimates 22/21
Like... pre-pandemic would this have done better? Maybe it could've done like 65m+? Cause this still doing 45m now is nuts.

Welp I guess AQP wasn't too close to reality for the current market after all. Good for it. Bring on part 3.

 Re: Friday Estimates 22/21
I think Cruella can have legs so a 20-25m opening isn’t bad. But that 200m budget woof! Hopefully CCP likes it lol.

 Re: Friday Estimates 22/21
Amazing numbers. With most theaters in Canada still closed, and with theater restrictions, in normal times this could have seen a Friday of $30 m +.
Raya is going to pass $50 m. Godzilla will pass $100 m but may just get beaten by A Quiet Place.
Cruella is ok. Feel the live action remakes are getting old now but people keep watching them so Disney must know what they are doing.
