Obviously it was coming out a few days before theaters closed last year. I remember i had tickets to it but then it moved. I'm sure they knew how much it was tracking even before the pandemic started.

Re: Friday Estimates 22/21 Amazing numbers. With most theaters in Canada still closed, and with theater restrictions, in normal times this could have seen a Friday of $30 m +.
Raya is going to pass $50 m. Godzilla will pass $100 m but may just get beaten by A Quiet Place.
Cruella is ok. Feel the live action remakes are getting old now but people keep watching them so Disney must know what they are doing.
