 Avengers v Justice League Predictions The hot rumors say Disney is trying to buy DC while WB is merging with Discovery. So ... would that kind of epic crossover (that’s never been done before I believe) be enough to top Endgame’s weekend and Avatar’s worldwide total? Batman v Wolverine???

Re: Avengers v Justice League Predictions I don't think this will happen and please god no. The individual DC movies are still decent enough and with a few tweaks will eventually get better.
Avengers vs Justice League if built properly well do well and yes will easily do more than Avatar.

Re: Avengers v Justice League Predictions to be clear, this was almost going to happen in 2016 but it is now not on the horizon. that said, if this new deal completely tanks, then we could be seeing something like this in five years.
I'm not sure how Disney would be able to manage the two properties to be honest. Most DC/Marvel crossover stuff has sucked (even the video game). Fundamentally, DC treats superheroes as icons while Marvel treats them as people. They fundamentally approach storytelling differently and it doesn't really work well.
I actually think the best approach if this were to happen would be to keep Marvel the main movie franchise and keep DC mostly limited to TV/series.
