 Re: The Mandalorian
It’s good. Slow but good. Horatio Sanz was testing me. Happy to see he is not going to part of the show going further.
Action scene at the end was cool
Baby Yoda
Looks like a movie
Looks like a western

 Re: The Mandalorian
As my main site review says, the western influences are all over it. I was cool with it.

 Re: The Mandalorian
I'm really enjoying it so far as well. Finally a Star Wars property that I can really look forward to on a weekly basis. Also, Pedro Pascal was the perfect fit for this.

 Re: The Mandalorian
Well, we finally discovered the successor to John Williams. It's the composer of the best non-JW SW theme/soundtrack since Shadows of the Empire. It was always you, Ludwig https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXp4GnC1Z3Q

 Re: The Mandalorian
After 2 episodes... it kinda sucks. I'll probably finish the season but I am not invested at all. Weird choice for first major series on the service.

 Re: The Mandalorian
I thought this weeks episode was much better than last weeks, especially in the pacing and directing department. I can understand how some wouldn't be into it, but man so far this has been the classic Star Wars throwback that I've been waiting for this entire time and I absolutely love it. Also, baby Yoda in the floating stroller is the cutest goddamn thing I have seen all year. Disney is going to make some serious plushy merchandise money off that thing.

I think the first two episodes were great, tbh.

 Re: The Mandalorian
This weeks episode was even better IMO. I loved that we finally got to see Pascaldalorian go full on Batman/John Wick on some Stormship Troopers and the stuff with the Mandos talking about their culture, code of honor and that big rescue at the end was just dopeness all around.

 Re: The Mandalorian
This show has been decent so far.
The last two episodes (ep. 5 & 6) were much better in terms of world building and action. The story has been decent but nothing special. In fact, it feels a bit lacking. I read an article yesterday that said this show is a $100 million show about nothing but visuals and I sort of agree.
It's a bigger budget live action version of Filoni's cartoons. That's okay. But this isn't the great Star Wars TV show I thought it'd be.

 Re: The Mandalorian
Show kinda sucks at this point. Started ok, but there's nothing going on. Far too episodic, not epic at all.

 Re: The Mandalorian
Exciting finale, and Giancarlo makes a good overall villain, glad he survived
The whole scene where the stormtroopers couldn't shoot and the guy wanted to see Baby Yoda was hilarious

 Re: The Mandalorian
This show was fucking awesome and exactly what I've been wanting from Star Wars this whole time. Can't wait for Season 2 and see what direction they take this story in.

 Re: The Mandalorian
Boba Fett will definitely show up at some point. I’m pretty sure that person was meant to be Moth Gideon though.

 Re: The Mandalorian
I kind of want Mando to bang Cara Dune, but the lesbians would probably get mad they made her straight. Then again you can't give her a real lesbian storyline cause then the anti-Rose type of people would complain Star Wars is now taken over by SJWs.

Except the anti-Rose people are such a small portion of the audience.

 Re: The Mandalorian
I watched this over the last 2 weeks or so.
It's a good show, fits well within the SW universe, Baby Yoda is adorable and The Mandalorian is very cool character in itself too.
The show has a nice build-up, the first 3 episodes are totally ace, but there's a bit of a drop-off after that. It picks up again for the last 2 episodes for a good conclusion of the story so far. There's something nice to be found in most episodes, like the the AT-ST in ep 4 and Bill Burr in ep 6, only ep 5 felt the least remarkable and for those middle episodes of the show it just felt it didn't serve the overall story well. It felt to me, that they had a budget and a story for a 4 episode show, but it was dragged out over 8 episodes and that didn't serve in it's best interest. The opening of ep 8 with Sudeikis as one of the storm troopers was quite fun and a highlight too. The show has a neat soundtrack as well.
