 Atlanta (FX)  Quote: Atlanta is an American comedy-drama television series created by and starring Donald Glover. The series is about two cousins navigating their way in the Atlanta rap scene in an effort to improve their lives and the lives of their families. FX ordered the pilot to a 10-episode season in October 2015.[2] The series premiered on September 6, 2016. This debuted last night with a double episode. I actually thought it was great. Re: Atlanta (FX) I enjoyed the two-episode premiere a lot. Very perceptive and, in a low-key way, stylish.

Re: Atlanta (FX) Eh. I only watched the first episode but it was nothing special, IMO. I found it kind of dull. I'll watch the second later.

I actually kind of agree, I'll have to re-visit the pilot, but man. I love the show now. It took some time to adjust to the tone, and maybe that's why I found the pilot mediocre. But it's really, really good now.

Nothing against the show but the trend seems to be critics are falling over themselves for anything black in all genres these days
