But Catwoman is genuinely a good film. I love its latte-on-a-Sunday-afternoon feel. What? All I remember is that truly awful basketball scene, and that was the best scene. Saddest thing about Catwoman is Berry isn't even hot in it. Jesus that costume is wretched. Give me Barb Wire on loop before Catwoman.

Lol, that is so awkwardly edited. You'd think it was a Bourne car chase

Re: Universally hated films you love
Disney's Hercules is probably my biggest guilty pleasure. I know it's not exactly hated, but I freaking love this film, and I even can see its technically mediocre in most ways. It's probably the most formulaic film Disney has ever made; at points, it feels like the screenwriters are playing Mad Libs. But it's so unabashedly passionate in its mediocrity, I can't help but be mesmerized by it.

People don't like the music, pan Hercules as an uninteresting lead, and think it's too formulaic. They do think it is fun for the most part with great supporting characters and humor. It's probably more popular than Pocahontas and a Hunchback though.

Hunchback is the most underrated of that period. It's so gorgeous.

Re: Universally hated films you love
I give major respect for a fuck you 18 months after the fact. But come one. Good film, I think not. That was the point of the thread.
Wild Hogs is a film I can always watch. It's not good, I know it's not good. But for some reason I enjoy the chemistry between the leads, and the humor is just so out there most of the time, but for some reason it works for me. I laugh more at "how the hell did they think this wouldn't offend people" kind of attitude. I still don't get why there wasn't a sequel, adjusts to almost 200 million now.

No. The point of the thread is universally hated films that you love. I love Catwoman. End of. And it is 15 months. Thegun wrote: Wild Hogs is a film I can always watch. And what makes a good film is entirely subjective. I don't believe in this open order of films that some are "obviously good" and some are "obviously bad" and if you disagree with any of it you're some how a retard that doesn't understand film. Nah. I say go fuck yourself. That's for film snobs. If Wild Hogs is enjoyable to you, then it did its job, and it's a good film.

Hunchback and B&TB comprise the top tier of the 90s Renaissance as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Universally hated films you love
I agree with the hunchback love in here, it's one of the very best disney animated films and also the most adult, its not a kids movie imo, it doesn't even hint its sexual themes like in other disney films, its flat out in the open. You will not see a disney animated film like that again.
