She's a woman. And she's going to "continue what Obama has done".

Which is what? I thought he did a good job, no? The reputation of American under Obama was pretty decent, I'd say. No wars. No embarrassing scandals. Just a decent bloke doing the job he was appointed to with care.

The people who still don't like Obama don't like him because he's black.

For example the gun control issue, in a strict before or against argument, I think something like 60% of Americans would be for more restrictions, but the other 40% against, just fights much harder for their side of it and thus their ideology prevails.

More accurately Algren, she is seen as the face of an establishment who is corrupt and incompetent, with little to no progress since the beginning of the Bush Jr administration.
I personally don't put much stock in this thinking as most recent statistics over the past four years have show economic growth and military victories against terrorist organizations. But you know, we're in an age of rampant pessimism and conspiracy theories.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
Hillary drew 18,500 to her rally at Ohio State tonight, by far the biggest crowd of her campaign to date. What I love about this is that it shoots down the argument of deluded Trump supporters who claim she can't win the election because "Trump gets huge numbers at rallies and she gets nothing!"

I'd prefer to have zero American friends. Most Americans I know or meet are intolerable, dumb loud mouths. But I do have three on Facebook. David, my favourite American; intelligent and interesting. A guy I met while working in China; not bad, but quite big headed and likes the sound of his own voice. Then there's the Republican woman. She is nice, actually. Very sweet, and I play Scrabble with her on Facebook. But she's not too bright, and is a sworn Republican and Christian.

Corpse wrote: I doubt Hillary wins by double digits, but if she does... that'd be quite the devastating blow to the Republican Party. This bump is the result of the tape, at last partially (some of them began prior to the tape release), but I imagine the race will tighten again at least a bit in the final couple weeks before election day.
A double digit win, though, would result in a lot of the south (Arizona, South Carolina, Georgia, and possibly Texas) going Democrat once again. The margin of victory would be even greater than both of Obama's victories, and probably greater than Bill's 1996 reelection victory as well.
I also don't like Hillary being up by this much at this stage. She and her campaign have a habit of becoming complacent, and often make easily avoidable mistakes when in the lead. The chances of her saying something careless right now are pretty high. I really think the only way he loses by double digits if more tapes are leaked or he has another major gaff. The last double digit defeat was 84 most of the elections have come down to 5 points and less the last 30 years.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
Another Trump Twitter meltdown this morning, this time aimed at Paul Ryan. Quote: Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Despite winning the second debate in a landslide (every poll), it is hard to do well when Paul Ryan and others give zero support! 8:16 AM - 11 Oct 2016
Our very weak and ineffective leader, Paul Ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty. 9:05 AM - 11 Oct 2016
It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to. 10:00 AM - 11 Oct 2016
With the exception of cheating Bernie out of the nom the Dems have always proven to be far more loyal to each other than the Republicans! 10:15 AM - 11 Oct 2016 · Queens, NY, United States
Disloyal R's are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary. They come at you from all sides. They don’t know how to win - I will teach them! 10:48 AM - 11 Oct 2016

Move I feel like in the back of his mind he knows that he is going to resoundingly, embarrassingly lose this election, and thinks the only thing to do is take the entire GOP down with him. Couldn't have happened to a better group of people. The expression "you made your bed, now lie in it" was invented for the Republicans this election.
