 Re: Who Will Be President?
Ted Cruz was booed after refusing to endorse Trump in his speech tonight. This convention is an unmitigated disaster. So much for the people hoping this convention would help unify the GOP.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
Allowing Cruz to even give any speech was ignorant enough, unless an actual endorsement was agreed upon, but Trump having supposedly read the speech hours in advance and still allowing it?

Cruz is positioning himself to run in 2020. Reminds me of what Nelson Rockefeller did in 64 and to an extent Reagan in 76.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is resigning as the party leader and will serve as an honorary chair of the Clinton campaign. This follows the publication of DNC emails by Wikileaks that show the DNC has been putting the thumb on the scale against Bernie Sanders all along (through planting hit pieces in the media).
Meanwhile, the mainstream media continue to pretend that corruption is democracy and still worry about party unity (like it is the professional journalist's job to be concerned).

Meanwhile, the mainstream media continue to pretend that corruption is democracy and still worry about party unity (like it is the professional journalist's job to be concerned). You have made an extraordinary claim, so must provide evidence. In the current environment a professional journalist's job is to fluff the powers that be, keep the paymasters happy, and provide scintillating inconsequential click bait. How exactly was the process corrupted? Sanders was a pain in the ass employee. You think every HR dept. with a difficult employee only has glowing communications of that employee? He was suing them FFS, stole information from the DNC, did not inform them immediately, etc. Let’s cut out the faux outrage and shock over some weak leaks. They shouldn't have done it in the post Assange era, but then we should all be replaced by robots as well. Sanders is an adult and realized he had little chance. It was about moving the Overton Window. I just wished he had been more honest about it with his supporters, but then young people need instant gratification. A decade long struggle is not as exciting as up against the wall MoFos. Have you actually read the e-mails? The really "incriminating" ones read like bad inside jokes you send to your friends. The CFO was not serious about going after Sanders religion or lack of affiliation. If our posts here were leaked to the public and our employers had to defend us, how many of would us still have a job? Algren would be lynched and not metaphorically. **If the NSA or Russans leak this, I do not condone or endorse violence, except in the case of Algren metaphorically.

Even if there was legitimate issues with them not wanting Sanders to win... he lost by MILLIONS of votes. It didn't matter.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
What a wonderful start to the DNC convention. Trying to hide all those protesters who will be turning out. All these DNC chairs and employees resigning. Even Sanders can't placate his supporters because guess what...HRC is unlikable and untrustworthy. Those are the facts. She may get a few of his previous followers who aren't total zombies but more than a few are either not going to vote, will vote 3rd or 4th party or go to Trump.
And I love love love that Assange is helping to take this lying power mad corrupt wall street funded enabler of enablers down.

The picture that develops is of a party split by support for and opposition to Hillary Clinton. But it serves as a good demonstration of the importance of keeping anecdotal evidence in context.
Pew Research has been polling on the 2016 campaign for months, allowing it to track attitudes among voters over time. Nearly half of the Democratic electorate, 44 percent, changed their preference over the course of the three surveys Pew conducted. About 3 in 10 supported Clinton, wire-to-wire; about 20 percent Sanders.
Pew asked those consistent Sanders supporters whom they support in the general election. Ninety percent said they back Hillary Clinton. You're allowed to think Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a toxic, incompetent idiot (like I happen to) and not want to switch your vote to Trump, just so you know. They're not mutually exclusive. But really. You seem to be enjoying your delusional GOP bubble of racist fascism, so I'll let you have your moment.

Trump is very BKB-like. Make bold statements and just claim them as facts. You never have to verify them, and if they're wrong, just disagree.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
Honestly, who really cares what the Washington Post prints? I could care less.
I just don't understand how anyone who even remembers how Clinton...I'm talking Bill now got elected in 1992 and the disgusting pig he was and then impeached would even take HRC seriously. Let's zip forward and just remember this wall street slush fund lady lied to ya'lls faces over and over again about her emails and her server. Anyone with a brain knows that server was hacked so whatever she deleted or didn't turn over is just blackmail city. Back to her lying the past 12 months about the server and emails as the FBI director went over even though he wouldn't use the word. She is a proven liar and it's pathological. To deny that is just mental. There's no trusting this person and she just hired Debbie Schultz to her campaign after any normal person should have resigned in disgrace and not have another job for at least a few months. There's no shame in any of it.
Just an embarrassment and any voters for yet another disgraced Clinton is just plain sad. Luckily, she won't win and there's a good chance she's gonna get landslided and ya'll can mope the next 4 years and enjoy your SNL skits just as much as I will.

The Washington Post has one of the best reputations of any journalistic medium in the entire world, and you "could care less" what they say because it doesn't agree with the made up facts you parrot. nghtvsn wrote: Just an embarrassment and any voters for yet another disgraced Clinton is just plain sad. Re: Who Will Be President?
LOL oh man you're delusional.
So I shouldn't vote for someone who is a liar, but a decent person. But I SHOULD vote for someone who is also a liar, but a piece of shit, racist, misogynist.
Enjoy the destruction of your party!

 Re: Who Will Be President?
I've always been about having actual change in regards to politics ever since 1992. Who knows what Perot might have been but at least it would have been a change. Something fresh. Something new. Different ideas. Clinton=corrupt careerist lying...every negative you can think of Trump=change That's all that matters to me and tbh if Bernie didn't have the deck stacked against him by the DNC then that would have been actual change as well but it didn't work out that way. Quote: So I shouldn't vote for someone who is a liar, but a decent person. Not in this reality.

Pew asked those consistent Sanders supporters whom they support in the general election. Ninety percent said they back Hillary Clinton. The poll was taken in June. And I can show you two June polls that draw a drastically different conclusion. http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-06-22/nearly-half-of-sanders-supporters-won-t-support-clintonQuote: A June 14 Bloomberg Politics national poll of likely voters in November’s election found that barely half of those who favored Sanders -- 55 percent -- plan to vote for Clinton. Instead, 22 percent say they’ll vote for Trump, while 18 percent favor Libertarian Gary Johnson. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/jun/10/sanders-supporters-prefer-clinton-to-trump-exclusive-pollQuote: Guardian poll results by SurveyUSA: “Of those who vote for Sanders when Sanders’ name appears on the ballot, 13% say they will stay home if Sanders name is not on the ballot, 41% vote for Clinton, 15% vote for Johnson, 11% vote for Stein, and 7% defect to Trump,” writes the polling company. Often times we see the media pick and choose polls that fit the narrative they want to push. It is not the first time I've seen WaPo do it.

I was just about to comment how I like Eva longoria and then she goes into Texas being part of Mexico. What does that have to do with anything other than Texas fighting for their freedom from Mexico. Good Lord.
The most qualified presidential candidate ever...
What a tired trashy line for someone who doesn't even deserve that praise
