Trump fired Corey Lewandowski apparently largely because Ivanka got in his ear. :funny:

The sheer, unmitigated mess. This is what I wanted originally with Trump as the candidate.

And apparently Trump begins each day by reading 30-50 of the top Google News results for his name, printed out and handed to him.

This isn't helping the conspiracy theories that he's running to make sure his friend Hillary wins the election.

But OMG that would be the greatest conspiracy theory of all time.

Trump's campaign is in a downward spiral.

*He's close to falling behind Clinton by double digits in the polls (alarmingly bad).
*He hasn't aired any ads in six weeks, ever since he clinched the nomination.
*The RNC has yet to spend any money to support his campaign.
*Party leaders/officials are coming out in larger numbers to openly oppose him.

And reportedly, there are now hundreds of delegates getting involved in the "Dump Trump" movement to deny him the nomination at the convention, if they can unlock the delegates by a rules committee vote.

Also according to https://twitter.com/ComfortablySmug/sta ... 3521879040, Trump only got $1.3m left in cash by the end of last month (down from $2.4m the month before), with $45.7m in debt. Hillary, by comparison, has about $30m in cash. No wonder why he hasn't aired any ads in battleground states.

:whaa:

Shit. I didn't realize his campaign was in such dire straits financially. His Super PAC has a measly $500,000, too.

His campaign's cash on hand is pretty much the average for a typical House or Senate campaign. He can't afford to do much of anything.

Oh and here's why if it's Hillary v Trump it will be a landslide. He's drawing from Dems who like Bernie and hate Hillary, Dems/Repubs who feel betrayed and used by their respective Party, Independents who are looking for an outsider, and all of the above who feel the country is going in the wrong direction and are worried about the economy. He doesn't need to win the hispanic or black vote. He doesn't even need to get 30% of either of those demos. He will get at least 10-15% of both of those and that will be all she wrote because if ya'll think that it's only a bunch of white people supporting Trump you are in for a surprise in November.

Good call. I still hope a Mexican takes your job.

So, Hillary will not be charged. I am not surprised. I didn't think she did anything criminally wrong and it was a all a bunch of nonsense. Of course, Trump will try to say Obama is covering it up for her.

The FBI and the GOP both found nothing substantial. But here comes nghtvsn to call her a criminal.

Everything she's said about her emails and private servers throughout the entire campaign is all a lie. Nothing substantial there.

The background music makes this look funny. But this is not funny. *sigh*

No need to change the subject. It is not about Trump. She held public office. It is about people holding government officials accountable for their actions. There should be legal and political consequences for her gross negligence and public deception.

Quote:
http://www.navytimes.com/story/military/crime/2015/07/29/navy-engineer-sentenced-for-mishandling-classified-material/30862027/

This story was originally published on July 29, 2015.
...

A federal attorney announced Wednesday that Bryan Nishimura of Folsom, California, pleaded guilty to the unauthorized removal and retention of classified materials.

Nishimura, deployed in Afghanistan in 2007 and 2008 as a regional engineer, admitted to downloading classified briefings and digital records onto his personal electronic devices. He carried the materials off base and brought them back to the U.S. when his deployment ended.

An FBI search of Nishimura's home turned up classified materials, but did not reveal evidence he intended to distribute them.

He was sentenced to two years of probation and a $7,500 fine, and was ordered to surrender his security clearance. He is barred from seeking a future security clearance.

In similar circumstances, the FBI found no criminal intent but proceeded to prosecute the navy reservist. He was stripped of security clearance. To show Clinton is not above the law, should the State Dept bar her from seeking a future security clearance?

This is poor political handling too. What she should have done before all this became a heated topic was to issue a public apology and step away from politics for a while. She did not do that; instead she made up false statements to dodge questions and that invited more public scrutiny.

It's about a election between candidates. You vote for which is preferred.

This is a bad mark for Clinton. It doesn't make me happy that she did this. But I'd take these actions over Trumps.

This. Clinton is certainly not a perfect candidate (not even close). But Trump would ruin our country. And a vote for someone other than those two is a wasted vote. Voting Gary Johnson is a meaningless vote because there's no way he can win, and voting Green Party is basically voting for Trump because it takes away a vote that should be for Clinton (Think voting Nader instead of Gore in Florida).

However, I have a more pessimistic and negative look so I usually vote in the best interest that prevents the scenario I least prefer. So while I probably prefer a third-party candidate over Clinton, my least preference is Trump as president. And the best way to stop that from happening is by voting for Clinton.

Exactly my point. I didn't mean to tell someone not to vote for their preferred candidate. It's your vote, vote how you like. It's just my opinion though that if I want the best next 4 years possible for the country, my vote should mean the most it can. Your logic above makes a lot of sense to me.
