Looking back at S2, while it wasn't as strong as S1, it had a ton of great moments that just didn't quite fit as well as they did in S1. Zoom was a very menacing villain, but he never got the level of interest as Reverse Flash got from me. Though the cast on a whole, imo, was much better this season than last. I just rewatched the finale and thought it did a lot of things well, though I wish it would've been 90 minutes to create a more emotional impact on certain decisions. It's going to be hard for them to ever top the S1 finale, but I think they are going into a direction where they need to tread carefully with the Paradox storyline.

I'm afraid they are unnecessarily convoluting the story. My bf (he never watched TF before) watched a couple of episodes with me this season. Most of the time he was like: "WTF is this?" so the show is already not very open towards potential new viewers and if they continue to complicate the narrative too much I could see even regular viewers abandoning the show rapidly.

When you have to spend lots of time explaining why something is happening over and over again it's not a good sign IMHO.

I haven't watched the finale yet but I think the Earth-2 stuff really hurt the show this year. Way too much going on. Nowhere near the nosedive in quality that "Arrow" went through this year, but definitely a weaker season than the first.

I enjoyed the finale, but it was a bit too anticlimactic IMO. I was expecting a much better confrontation/resolution with Zoom after all the crazy shit that went down this season. He was a good villain overall, but like Chip said Reverse Flash was better. This episode seemed really short for some reason and I also didn't feel there was much of an emotional impact. Of course I'm down for more Flash, although I do hope next season is stronger.

Why shouldn't it? Fuck Arrow. Flash is king, and if it wants to change every timeline, so be it.

I don't watch Arrow, Supergirl or Legends of Tomorrow so I don't give a shit about them all being connected. I just want TF to have a good storyline. Hopefully they imagined next season more cohesive than this one. Otherwise it will all fall apart.

Was I the only one who thought Barry was going back to complete the time loop at the end? I gave an audible "holy shit", and I think it would have made a better ending. Of course a dead Barry would be a problem in season 3, but I'm sure there are ways around it. As is, Barry was pretty much at the same point he was at the end of season 1 and still making the same decisions. And if he stops Reverse Flash in the past, then Thorn won't create the exploding particle exelerator and Flash would never get his powers and being able to travel back in time to stop him. Paradox!!!

This was mostly a down season outside the excellent three episode stretch where Barry lost his powers. But it also proved that the foundation of Flash is so strong, it can be one of the best shows on tv even during an off year.

Slow premiere. Felt like we already saw the show doing this.

Oh man this episode was so good. So much hype for the rest of the season.

This episode is probably responsible for one of the funniest moments on the show so far with Barry running back and forth between Iris and Joe.

I'm excited to see the Flashpoint changes.

Well I can see Chippy being all enthusiastic about this season so far. Another meh episode for me. It feels like The Flash has been running in circles.

Caitlyn being Killer Frost is cool. Caitlyn and Barry having a secret affair would have been better.

The Flash is great again nonetheless.

So good. But MAN does Harrison Wells make this show next level.

I'm getting bored to be honest. All these episodes can melt in one similar mess.

- Somebody repeats to Barry he shouldn't have fucked up timeline (again).
- MOTW (the show should've outgrown the template by now IMHO) / Dr. Alchemy (which looks and sounds like a caricature villain).

That's basically it. If something else important happened I was probably too bored to notice. I'm also not a fan of everyone on Team Flash suddenly having superpowers. It's not what the show is about. or should be about.

Loved the Barry/Iris stuff this week.

One of the funniest episodes ever of the show and yet even still outside the comedy this show remains fantastic.

And it's getting frosty!

Might've been my favorite Flash episode. That was really, really excellent.
