It's really close between the two of us. I'd say me but only because I know a lot of the useless background crap from the franchise like names of background characters but she has seen them more than I have. So today could be me but tomorrow could be her.

And I have a small Millennium Falcon on my right wrist that I got 5 years back. Gonna be getting Luke's green saber soon. Or who knows, maybe something from the new movie.

And my wife has Vader's helmet on her left thigh and a storm trooper helmet on her right thigh.

Collider Jedi Council will have a spoiler free review tonight after the world premiere. can't wait.

Apparently social media reactions to the premiere are not embargoed, so somewhere around 10 p.m. PST we should learn what to expect from it quality-wise.

What I find funny/weird is...

People's reactions like Star Wars was resurrected or something. Umm, I'm fairly certain RotS is a Top 3 SW movie. This wasn't coming off of some garbage previous movie. This will fall in the RotS range. Top 3-4 SW movies, but not #1/2.

Just about every reaction I've seen says it's better than RETURN OF THE JEDI, but not as good as EMPIRE or A NEW HOPE.

I think that's all you could ask for. Sounds good.

Yep. The only "okay" reaction I've seen is from Devin Faraci, and that's to be expected. Every other reaction has been positive.

Yah I was bummed to hear that.

If people don't think RotS is better than ANH, then they have issues. Or their childhood is warping their opinion.

None of the prequels are better than the originals.
They may have some parts that are better but as a whole movie they suck.

Hayden's performance alone is worse than the any bad part of the OT. Sith is far far inferior.

Considering RotS pretty much matches the worst OT movie on KJ tells you all you need to know about all of your bullshit.

REVENGE OF THE SITH is absolutely better than RETURN OF THE JEDI. It's not even close.

I think the acting holds it back from A NEW HOPE, though. And there's a simplicity to that film that just works.

And I think most will rank Awakens no higher than 2, but no lower than 5.

Watch REVENGE OF THE SITH and RETURN OF THE JEDI back-to-back. One of them has forward momentum and is clearly a movie the filmmaker wanted to make, and the other is RETURN OF THE JEDI.

Watched all of them over the weekend.
