Austin also grosses me out, though. He just seems dirty.

Because he has a beard, I assume. Because otherwise, he seems like a regular guy. Maybe because he has a silly/weird alter ego?

Big Brother was designed to see how people would live their lives in a house with strangers for x amount of days. A confined Real World + competitions. I don't see a problem with them doing things in private as 99.9% of America won't see and only weirdos who watch live feeds will see.

I think it's more that he never leaves Liz alone for more than 5 seconds. Like, he's actually gotten upset and complaining about how he "missed her" when she goes to the DR. And his weeks and weeks and weeks of pawing at her and groping her. No.

Someone is way too invested. Especially considering Liz is probably going to drop him ASAP and hook up with freaking Jeff at the wrap party or whatever.

Well yeah.

Knowingly engaging in sexual activity that is viewed by feedsters is icky. Giving up your game for a showmance is icky. Obsessing over someone like that is icky.

Yes, I said icky. Austin is icky.

I try to replace Austin and Liz with Jeff and Jordan in all of those scenarios and it still sounds icky, even without factoring in Jeff's homophobia.

You must have also thought Shelly and Clay were icky.

They were a little bit, but mostly because she seemed more like his mom than a romantic interest. And that Clay straight up did give his game up for her (pointlessly, it turns out).

But at least Shelli allowed Clay to speak to others without her presence being necessary and they didn't get down and dirty in the HOH room every few hours.

I find myself very torn about showmances on this show. I guess I just have a lot of feelings!

You BB fans are fucking weird.

Yes, we BB fans with different opinions than yours about personal relationships in a public game are very weird.

To be fair, Chip, the ratings are UP with my favorite houseguests in danger (John, James, Becky) while the boring side is in power (AusTwins, Steve, Vanessa even if she's on the outs). Maybe I'm in the minority.

It sucks that I'm hanging on so dearly to the top four (which will become three tonight). Heck, this season is hanging on Meg now. MEG. Don't let me root for her.

I just know Vanessa or a twin will go next week and come right back in on the revival. Won't be anyone else.

I'm actually wondering about a scenario tonight in which James or Meg won HOH and nominated Austin and Liz. Won't that be the most insufferable week for James/Meg? Austin will be a nightmare. And no one is going after them. It's THREE players bonded through either blood or other bodily fluids. That's a huge chunk of the players left.

I don't truly *hate* anyone in this cast with every fiber of my being, though. There were at least two of those in BB16 (Frankie and Christine), and BB15 had so many horrendous people it was harder to name people I didn't hate.

So...improvement!

I think Meg falling on her face was the best comp fail in a while.

I am really hoping Shelli or Jackie come back in the house. They are the only two that would changed the game.

I never thought at the beginning of this season I'd be rooting for Meg to win over some of these losers.

James, John and Meg are the only likable ones left. I fucking despise the twins, Steve, Austin and Vanessa.

Vanessa won HOH. Johnny Mac is the returning juror.

The competition was literally over 5 minutes after the live show ended.

IF Vanessa was smart she would align with Johnny Mac and Steve and put up Austin and Liz or Austin and James
