Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2014-2015 Edition
I can't see anyone else picking it up.
Hey, it got three seasons. It's better than most Bryan Fuller shows. The ending of the season will be similar to the ending of Red Dragon most likely, since the final stretch is going to focus almost exclusively on that plotline with Richard Armitage and Rutina Wesley joining.

MovieGeek wrote: Had a fantastic run. A show with such fantastic acting, genius writing and beautiful visuals deserved better than NBC. If NBC didn't pick it up it probably wouldn't ever exist so I don't get the hate. NBC also gave it three seasons. Chances are if this was on any other network it would be canceled after the first season. NBC was very generous with Hannibal. You should be grateful.

^ Gotta side with that. Gives it atrocious ratings and general lack of mass appeal, NBC has treated "Hannibal" way waaay better than any other show would have been treated in similar circumstances.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2014-2015 Edition
NBC gets way too much shit for killing shows. This is the network that nurtured low rated sitcoms like "Parks and Recreation" and "30 Rock" and especially "Community" and managed to find a way to keep "Friday Night Lights" on the air. "Hannibal" had more than enough chances to prove itself and as I said before lasted longer than all of Bryan Fuller's other shows.

I also have to give NBC credit for allowing Parenthood to run 100 episodes even though it went totally under the radar the whole time.

Maybe I'm still bitter about Teachers being cancelled.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2014-2015 Edition
I seriously need to start this. I only have the first two episodes recorded. Hopefully they'll do a marathon eventually. I was kind of waiting to see if it would be renewed since I didn't want to get into it if it didn't and the ratings were a little rocky.

It's fantastic. And Lifetime has been good about doing marathons. I'm also pretty sure the entire show is on demand.

I am extremely pleased, indeed. I was afraid it would end on a cliffhanger note.

Netflix needs to renew Sense8 already.

I think the reason that Netflix and Amazon didn't pick up Hannibal was that Bryan Fuller won't start the season until two years later. Hes busy working on American Gods for Starz next year.

Knock Knock Live has been knock-knocked out after two episodes.
Good. Glad the cheap ploy of "Our celebrity guests are so huge, we can't possibly tell you who they are! You'll have to tune in to find out!!" didn't work.

I wonder if a third season of True Detective will be produced as rapidly as season two.

Hugh Dancy joined another series so I'd say "Hannibal" can be declared officially dead.

Yahoo has pulled the plug on Community. I'm not surprised though. The Season 6 now "Series Finale" was a great ending to the show.

It's the right decision, they had a great finale, met the 6 seasons quota and there will be a movie

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2014-2015 Edition
I hate to start a new topic on this, but isn't it time we said goodbye to The View? This show keeps popping up on my radar every few months for joining and departing co-hosts. Now the show has seen the departure of Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace (as well as Rosie O'Donnell earlier this year), after only last year letting go of Sherri Shepard and Jenny McCarthy. Not to mention losing Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar and Barbara the year before that.
So far for next season, we have Whoopi, Raven Symone, Michelle Collins (who?) and Sherri will be back as a contributor, whatever that means. I mean... when you have this kind of bizarre lineup, isn't it time to just kill it? I don't watch either, but The Talk seems to be filling the role over at CBS. They could find the perfect panel, but the damage is done. The View is tainted goods.

Aisha and Sheryl are my favorites!

She did a lot for the panel and she was very warm and spoke very well. I saw a taping of the show back in April and her and Perez were both highlights, IMO.
