Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Has they ever given the MVP to a player from the losing team cause King James deserves it

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Curry or Iggy will win MVP. Giving it to LeBron would be an insult.

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Can you really give it to Curry? His first two games were garbage. Even his third game was junk until the 4th quarter.

Yeah but he's been the reason they've caught fire when they do. Iggy has been inconsistent but that's always an out of left field option.

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Right now it's LeBron, but they dont give MVP's midway through a series, so it will all depend on the last game (or two).
Warriors win in 6, their best player that game should probably win it, in that case my money is on Curry.
I'm hoping for a 50-60 point game of LeBron to take the game back to GS though.

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Whomever votes/decides the MVP of the series should just choose Lebron unless Curry lights it up tonight. I just can't give him a pass for trashy games 1 and 2 and one quarter in 3. He wasn't the reason his team won Game 1. He did nothing to help game 2 and put up garbage points in 3. Yeah he showed up in 4 and the 4th of 5 but Lebron has been consistent throughout. If Lebron wasn't doing what he's been doing this would have been a GS sweep.

The sports gods, for whatever reason, do not like Cleveland.
They do however like Batman's Peter Guber.

Andre Iguodala wins MVP.
I don't get why they do these ceremonies at center court if the home team loses. I don't care how much security there is, it just seems like they're asking for trouble.

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Iggys 25 point effort sealed it. As expected Curry's early garbage performances took him out of the running.
I'm still bummed the Cavs couldn't have pushed this to 7. Losing two games on your home floor is disappointing but apparently they were out of gas. No other shot makers and missing all those free throws didn't help.

Warriors are a killer team that performed when they had to. Iguodala is deserving of MVP honors too, always liked him, and he stepped up big time these finals.

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
I read this morning that Reggie Jackson was up for a 5 year 80 million deal with Detroit. Um, if he couldn't function consistently as a backup at OKC do you guys think he's really worth 80 million dollars? I never found him to be that much of a game changer at the Thunder.

Re: NBA Thread - Finals baby
Jackson did great as a back-up at OKC, they didn't want to see him go, and he's a well sought after player all over the league. He's explosive and a keen passer, as a starter he would have no trouble doing 20-10. I'd pay 16mil a year for that.
