Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5) Seriously? Sure the last one was slow, but I appreciated the decelerated pace. Too often the show is "Three-to-seven people in a circle. They discuss near-future strategies to get/rescue/ambush something. They mull the possibilities of walkers. Break. They get/rescue/ambush something. Something goes wrong. Rinse. Repeat." To take a breather now and again works fine.
Also: Rick said the show name!! They are the walking dead!!
The first one may have tread into spiritual territory, but it worked for me because if you prefer the "ghosts" weren't real, then they were just in Tyreese's head and nothing more. It took a peak at maybe what dying is like on TWD.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 5) I was talking with someone and I was thinking that maybe that was a nice throwback to Shane. I remember he was basically the best character on the show and then he shaved his head and started his downfall. Rick's last statement totally brought that back especially now with the dark policeman uniform vs. his trademark light one.
Nice episode overall.
