Brienne will either be perfect as someone who kicks ass or as C-3PO's love interest.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - GENDER BALANCE ACHIEVED
Apparently the cast was really angry over the Harrison Ford injury. They had to shut down because they thought the sets were way too unsafe, along the lines if something hit his head, he may have been killed.

Harrison Ford's Broken Leg May Delay The Arrival Of EPISODE VII to Memorial Day 2016Well then, it's lucky he wasn't killed or Episode VII might take forever!

Indy's too old to be on a film set. Get the old man a cane and a wheelchair.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII thread - GENDER BALANCE ACHIEVED
I doubt that rumor is true, a day ago they said he was doing fine and would be out less than 6 weeks, maybe they confused that with months. It's a broken leg. But pretty scary none the less, he's the fourth injury already. The actual set collapsed on him. I'd think the meeting is more about the safety issues already brought about.
Though it's nice to know that Ford has that much of a significant role in the film. And Algren, Stallone broke his neck on the first Expendables film, accidents happen all the time, no matter how tough you are.

If they have to delay the film enough where they can't film scenes without him... then he's in too many scenes.

Cronenberg hasn't made a good movie since 1986.

i'm feeling less and less confident in this. I don't understand how a director wouldn't want MORE time to perfect a movie. This seems backwards.

Huh? JJ wants more time. The studio doesn't.
