Re: NHL 2012-13 Season The Kings had to play the first 2 games without ever getting to tap into their strength, having a lead and then shutting the rest of the game down. And went 2-0 anyways. This game OTOH was so over once they got a 2 goal lead.
The Finals are underwhelming but Kings vs Sharks, Ducks and Blackhawks was so phenomenal that this championship will still be epic/memorable. Still both NY Kings Finals opponents will go down as afterthoughts. Pittsburgh is to blame, them not making either the 2012 or 2014 Finals when Boston would've been out of the way for them is embarrassing

That game was a classic. Closest 5-game series ever. The Rangers just never got a bounce to go their way in OT. And unfortunately for them, this will probably be their only shot for quite sometime, unless the Penguins take a step back, which I guess is possible since they're going to be revamped (at least off the ice).
And the Kings aren't going anywhere.
