 Re: New Girl
Tonight's episode was probably my least favorite episode of the show ever.

This wasn't the best New Girl ever but it was still pretty good. I loved the flashback with Jess and Cece, adorbs! Also, I hope Cece working at the bar now means we'll get some Cece/Nick storylines, I feel like there's potential in that.

 Re: New Girl
The ending was awful. I hated how Nick seemed to have passed the bar in like one day, which makes ZERO sense. Also Cece working at the bar seemed contrived. Since when has she had modeling issues?
It really just wasn't funny at all. The only scene I really liked was young Jess/Cece which was sweet.

 Re: New Girl
No, it was just bad writing. Like, a joke like the cutaway to the Jess school scene at the beginning would have been random and hilarious last year. In last night's episode it went on WAY too long and was unfunny. And the Cece development came out of NOWHERE.
Also, they haven't been using Damon Wayans Jr. well. He feels extraneous.
"Mindy Project" has been absolutely killing this show in terms of quality this season. I laughed more in the first minute of that show last night than in the entire 22 minutes of this.

 Re: New Girl
Also, are we really arguing that season 3 has been on par with season 2? Because it really hasn't. Last year this was my favorite comedy on television. This season, while good, has definitely been going through a slump.

 Re: New Girl
Last night's episode was the easily the best of the season especially the movie theater scene when Nick surprised Jess. Another interesting part was the cake-off scene with Coach and Winston!

That's more like it "New Girl." Last night's episode was excellent and probably the best of the season. The ending was so sweet.

 Re: New Girl
So. This is a show? That's watched by people?
That Ford Fusion scene. Very subtle.
It's almost like FOX knew the Super Bowl was going to be shitty and lead off with this thinking no one was going to be left watching anyways.

If you don't like fun.
Actually he was the best part. Finally didn't seem to take himself seriously for once.

 Re: New Girl
I actually watched it after the game even though I'm way behind on the show. Enjoyable enough episode. Still need to get rid of Winston.
