Trailer for From Dusk till Dawn: The Series
The trailer is sharper and more intriguing than I expected, though the acting on display is...questionable. It premieres in March on Robert Rodriguez's newly launched El Rey channel, which I am not even sure if I get or not.

It is amusing Mau chose this thread for this particular GIF considering this is a series on a channel aimed squarely at the Mexican American audience.
He is such a self-loathing niño pequeño.

Seriously, I think this looks terrible. Some C-grade actors repeating the same lines that Clooney and Tarantino said just looks awful, while they are striving for coolness. They should have carved out their own story.

The cast is C-list, but Don Johnson and Robert Patrick are actors who could definitely be utilized in interesting ways in this type of grind-house fare.

That sucked. Quentin Tarantino dialogue read slowly and by bad actors can surprisingly be quite awful.
Rodriguez missed an opportunity. A series about the actual El Ray, only spoken of in the film, could have been great.
