 Re: 2013-2014 NFL Discussion
I'm torn in what the Texans should do with the #1 pick. I mean, they NEED a QB. And Bridgewater is incredible. But having the chance at Clowney and pairing him with Watt?! That's almost too good to pass up. I've always been on the "take the best player available" and not really "reach for a need" side.

 Re: 2013-2014 NFL Discussion
If you can get a franchise QB you take him. As long as they think Bridgewater is the real deal then they should take him. They need a QB badly and the guys they got are awful. They can't win with what they got. I guess they could take one with the first pick in the second round.

 Re: 2013-2014 NFL Discussion
I know Indy has won a ton of big games this year... but I've yet to figure out HOW. No way I can pick them against a healthy KC team. KC will get to Luck and should be able to shut down the passing game.
New Orleans on the road scares me. I mean, I know they're good, but I just don't think they have the athletes to hang with Philly. Philly's offense is humming along and Rob Ryan isn't good enough to scheme against it.
San Diego has the worst defense in the NFL. Though they are the "hot" team going into the playoffs, which scares me. They'll need Dalton turnovers to win, which may happen and is making me regret my LOCK OF THE WEEK.
Green Bay is a completely different team with Rodgers. Unfortunately their defense is hot garbage. I don't see a way for them to score enough on SF's defense to make up for it.

Fun fact: the last four Super Bowl winners all played in Philadelphia's home opener. And this year, that team was...the Chargers. If it happens again, Philadelphia will never win.

I don't see them beating Bengals. But that didn't stop me from dropping a few bucks on them to win it all.

The Packers game on Sunday might rival the ice bowl. It could be -30 with wind chill on Sunday. It will be a brutal game.

They are being very careful, concussion protocol, although the way the Chiefs are playing, may not need him. And Richardson, man what an awful trade that was. Cleveland got a gift.

Indy was not ready for this game, and yeah, the Richardson trade is looking like gold for Cleveland.

It isn't looking good for the Colts, unless Luck has some Frank Riech magic in him.

The Chiefs should be banished back to the AFL if they blow this.

 Re: 2013-2014 NFL Discussion
The Chiefs have had too many injuries. They have had 4 starters get hurt and 1 back up. If Charles hadn't gotten hurt they could have run the ball in the second half.
