The only singing show on the air worth watching anymore (and newly-minted Emmy winner)
"The Voice" returned tonight with a two-hour premiere, and will continue tomorrow with another episode. Original judges Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green return this season after being absent for the spring season.
I think I'm the only one here who watches every episode of this but I'm glad it's back. I will actually miss Shakira but I'm a fan of the chemistry between the original judges.
Watching the premiere now (about 45 minutes in). The 54-year old was actually good but really should have gone with Christina - it's dumb that she chose Adam and I don't think she's going to go far because of it. The 17-year old girl (Caroline?) was good too but I feel like her 'aw shucks' routine could get old very quickly. She needs to get a lot more confident.
That guy who was like something straight out of
"Buckwild" was unbearable and reminiscent of a bad
"American Idol" audition. So glad no one picked him.
By the way, they showed a
"Parenthood" promo during their highest rated show
