That being said this season sounds really appealing.

Jessica lange and Kathy Bates berathing each other once a week in what's likely gonna be an epic showdown.... I couldn't be happier

AWESOME premiere! The rest of the season looks crazy too!

Favorite parts so far are definitely the trio of Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates, who were all on point tonight. Also liked Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe a lot. The scene with Emma flipping the bus was awesome and I like that she's kind of playing a variation of herself

Also Both Kathy Bates and Jessica Lang pretty much locked in nominations and probably wins for the Emmys on their first 5 mins on screen.

Also... what other tv show kils 3 of its main characters on the pilot?... and revives one by the end?.

I dug it. A little less than you though but I believe it has serious potential. I liked the stuff at the party and the result of that was cool. Dug the scene with Taissa Farmiga towards the end.

The stuff with Jessica Lange was a bit boring though .

The rest of the season seems pretty cool.

Great first episode. This season looks like a return to form or the show.

It is the first American Horror Story premiere I have enjoyed to the extent I may return for episode two.

I dig the concept, the cast, and the general voodoo atmosphere, though, per usual with this series and I, the constant see-what-I-can-do stylistic excesses ("Say, let's show a girl entering a hospital first with a Dutch angle and then use a fish-eye lens for the rest of the shots!") are wearying.

Tonight's episode was AWESOME! Totally on board with this season. I loved all the one liners ("Maybe in another 100 years you can have two shitty salons"). All the actors are awesome on this series.

i am still in awe how good this show is.

All scenes featuring the big 3 are amazinig but this episode..... Lily Rabe's character return was PERFECT.

DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST RETURNS OF ALL TIMES ON TV.

Yeah, Lily Rabe was awesome. Really dug the second episode.

Say what you will about Emma Roberts in other projects but she's great on this show and the role suits her very well.

Gabourey Sidibe is also great. She was hilarious last night.

Thus far the weakest link in the cast is surprisingly Taissa Farmiga, but that's probably because she's had the least to do so far. Her character is easily the most grounded in reality.
