This new Netflix comedy-drama series, from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan, is getting very strong reviews. All 13 episodes premiere tomorrow (July 11), just like House of Cards and Arrested Development. Netflix is so high on this show that they've already renewed it for a second season.

It stars Taylor Schilling as a spoiled New York woman sentenced to 15 months in prison for possessing drugs for her former lover (Laura Prepon). Jason Biggs plays her fiancee.

Since i just binge watched Weeds (in a week i might add) I'm SO high on this show.

I'm so gonna binge watch it too.

I'll definitely watch. "Weeds" was fantastic in its first few years. I just hope it doesn't go to shit like that series did (that finale...ugh).

Plus Netflix for the most part has been great with their original programming thus far (with the exception of "Hemlock Grove," which I gave up on after 2 episodes).

The finale wasn't that bad and I feel the 100th episode was the real finale with Andy and Nancy splitting for good.

I HATED the finale but as a whole the final season wasn't that bad. Certainly better than the past few.

During seasons 1-3 it was one of my favorite shows.

I think the last season of Weeds I've watched is 5. I agree it went downhill.

This show looks great. Definitely looking forward to it.

The pilot was great! It was darkly funny but I can't lie and say that I wasn't on the edge of my seat throughout. The whole environment is just very tense. I'm excited to see where it goes. Also, I never thought much of Taylor Schilling's acting abilities but she was quite good in the first episode.

If the pilot is great, imma binge watch it, lol.

The flashbacks are like Lost, one character per episode.

Screw that Piper still gets flashbacks on most episodes. lol fail on me.

Weeds sucks but this had me from the moment they played that Rilo Kiley song in the trailer

Sooo is this good? I liked the first 3 seasons of Weeds and I haven't been watching Netflix so maybe I should give this a try.

I'm on episode 8 and it's definitely right there with the first seasons of Weeds in quality.

Actually it's like the show took place during the 6 and 7th season of Weeds with the exception that well... this time the lead is actually likable.

This show is BRILLIANT. I'm obsessed with it. Watching the season finale right now and I'm disappointed there aren't any more episodes to watch. It's incredibly well-written and all of the characters are interesting and relatable. I love the relationships and interplay between all of them. Also, for being a comedic series overall there have been more than a few heartbreaking moments. Yoga's big reveal about what she did was tragic. Also, the entire cast is great. Everyone should check this out.

It's the best thing Netflix has put out thus far, IMO.

I got stuck on the episode 9, then i started binge watching Buffy. lol

The lead actress looks so much like Katy Perry. I'm on episode 3, enjoying it so far.

Binge watch 12 episodes yesturday. Hilarious fucking show.

Except she lacks Katy's best characteristics.
