So both UCLA and Minnesota have fired their coaches. Who do you think they'll try and get? Minnesota's AD is the former one at VCU so Shaka Smart comes to mind but would he leave VCU? Someone has to give the likes of Bryce Drew and Andy Enfield a look as well. Would Brad Stevens leave Butler?

I suppose Smart could leave VCU. I don't see Stevens leaving Butler, especially for the UCLA job. The UCLA job is one of the worst because of the Wooden Legacy. Coaches always seem to be fired from that school because they don't win enough.

Hoiberg from Iowa State is another possibility.

He is also rumored to be considering NBA jobs.

So who do you all see winning Thursday/Friday's games? I doubt they're being given much of a chance but I'd love to see FGCU continue its amazing run by knocking out their big brother.

I see Louisville winning. Oregon commits too many turnovers, and that is the last thing you want to do against them. Tomorrow I see Arizona, Indiana, LaSalle, and Miami advancing. For Friday, I will predict Louisville, Michigan St, Kansas, and Florida. But I wouldn't be shocked to be wrong on a few of those picks.

Do you want FGCU to win like I do or are you a Gator fan, or don't care one way or the other?

I agree with your Thursday picks. Friday too though as mentioned, I hope FGCU pulls the monumental upset.

I will be pulling for FGCU along with LaSalle, got to pull for the little guys (I guess Wichita is one too, but I will pull for LaSalle first). I hope we have some good games tonight. I don't see Louisville-Oregon being close at all. Indiana-Syracuse and Marquette-Miami have potential to be great games.

Not looking promising for Miami so far but it's early.

Miami is shooting terrible, live by the 3 and die by the 3. Marquette is dominating inside.

Marquette just dominated Miami, the game was never really close other than in the first few minutes.

If Indiana doesn't wake up, we might have another Big East blow out. Best game today was the Ohio State win, the last minute was a lot of fun.

Syracuse beats Indiana, they looked very impressive. So a big east rematch between Syracuse and Marquette on Saturday.

Yeah, the Syracuse-Indiana game almost tightened up. And oh I was 0-4 on my picks lol. I think I will be better tomorrow.

Stevens turns down UCLA
http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mens-col ... -overtures

Not really surprised, he been crazy to go there. UCLA have unrealistic expectations. This isn't college football where a team can dominant like Alabama with a great coach. It is more difficult to win a championship in college basketball.

FGCU's coach makes $157,000/year. Please Minnesota, offer him lots more and get him. That said, not sure if he'll leave no matter what he's offered because the guy was already a millionaire prior to becoming a coach as he made lots on Wall Street.

Louisville already has a double digit lead over Oregon. I bet CBS wishes it would have gotten a different game.

14-point lead for Louisville at halftime. They'll probably win by at least that much.

I don't see how Louisville doesn't at least make the Championship. And this Louisville/Oregon game is boring.

Louisville is amazing. They are just so deep, Smith is their best player but they have 3 other players who are great as well.
