I keep wishing House of Lies would get canceled so Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell could be on a show that isn't terrible.

Is it that bad? I watched a few episodes and it didn't seem too bad, but not something I would go back week after week for.

Libs, do you watch Shameless?

HIMYM's renewed for its final season. Maybe I'll attempt to watch the whole series now that it's ending.

Odd how the announcement says Season 9 will be when we finally meet the mother. I guess will they just cliffhang the reveal to the season premiere?

I'd guess series finale, massive build up until the very last episode.

Eh I can't seeing it being the series finale given the time setting of the show at the moment.

NCIS has unshockingly been renewed for an 11th season.

The fact that that show pulls in so many viewers is even more shocking than TBBT's because the latter you can somewhat see why it is big. With NCIS, how?

I find The Big Bang Theory's popularity much more inexplicable. People have always loved a solid, straightforward procedural.

It's just rare for a show such as NCIS to be so popular given this day in age. Even CSI showed signs of aging at Season 10, then again that had cast changes that helped cause the decline. I mean NCIS is showing it may not even be through half of its run!

Every time I see a new post in this thread, I immediately fear it'll be bad news for Happy Endings.

LOL, so now CHRISTINA APPLEGATE is leaving "Up All Night." WTF? They should just cancel it at this point instead of apparently trying to replace her with Lisa Kudrow as Deadline suggested.

Uhhhh. I'm sorry, what? Christina Applegate is the star of the show. Is the Lisa Kudrow thing even serious? As much as I adore her, I doubt Kudrow would sign onto this mess. Would she just be playing Reagan? So absurd.

Seriously, NBC. Give it up. Applegate wisely jumped ship before the multi-cam debacle even happened; cancel it and release Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph so they can move onto better things.

It's seriously the dumbest idea ever. It's dumber than the whole multi-cam change. I don't know why NBC is so invested. And why the hell would Lisa Kudrow sign on?

It's a shame because I really liked this show. But I'd rather them cancel it than make it go this big of an overhaul. It's not even like ratings were good, and the show is already enough episodes in that recasting the character would be really noticeable.

Also, I really want poor Christina Applegate to have a TV series that sticks again. Samantha Who? was great but was done in by the writers' strike which killed its momentum.

Get the girl an HBO series or something.

I like how the utter floppage of Smash's return earlier in the week almost guaranteed Parenthood a renewal, and nonsense like Applegate's departure probably guarantees renewals for Community and Parks & Rec too. Fricking NBC, good lord.

Here I was really annoyed about the format change but still would have stuck with it. But if Applegate leaves I won't even bother. How can she be leaving? She's one of the main stars. They shouldn't even continue if she does. I really enjoyed this show but it's being run into the ground. I'm pretty sure they'll just cancel it now. They certainly can't replace Applegate. That would be ridiculous.

In a weird way I'd actually like to try to see them "continue" the show switched to a multi-cam format AND without Christina Applegate. It could become NBC's biggest trainwreck by far, which is really saying something considering some of the stuff they have on the air.
