It very well could be that people are marking your post as spam which makes it go away. I know I would mark it as spam as it has nothing to do with B!tch

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
Well I said how I loved the show and I will miss it, but people need to stick with Happy Endings now, which is airing in it's time slot so that won't have the same fate.

It is better than Bitch but we don't need to have this conversation.

Please, please let another network pick up Don't Trust The B----! Easily one of the best sitcoms on TV that was getting better and better. I'm looking at you FX! Show would go great with It's Always Sunny.

People need to shush with this 'hope another network will pick it up' bullshit.
Does that ever happen? Besides, like, Cougartown and Arrested Development? This show is totally gone. Yes, it sucks.

I think people are so vocal about this happening with Happy Endings (and Bitch 23, although that's much less likely) just because of Cougar Town: a similarly offbeat show ABC never had any idea what to do with.

Don't Trust the B getting chopped apparently set off a chain reaction: Fox has pulled Ben & Kate from the schedule. Raising Hope will air two new episodes in the 8 pm hour through February before Hell's Kitchen moves into that slot on March 12. A one-hour season finale of Raising Hope will air Thursday, March 28 after American Idol. http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/01/23/fox-p ... -and-kate/

I loved that show. So disappointed. It was so cute and funny and had a lot of potential. The humor was also very similar to "New Girl," so not sure why it never caught on.

Couldn't make it past three episodes. Only the pilot was good, IMO.
I'm hoping Mindy Project makes it though.

Does that ever happen? Besides, like, Cougartown and Arrested Development? This show is totally gone. Yes, it sucks. Oh please. Last year if ABC had canceled Bitch there were a good number of networks interested in scooping it up from them. It does have a following, however small, but that audience would be enough for it to do well on a cable network. I could easily see one picking it up. Would do well on FX paired with It's Always Sunny. Plus, apparently the humor in the unedited version of the pilot would have been much better suited for cable. If Happy Endings ends, I think there's like a 99% chance of someone else picking that up. Especially when it's going to be three seasons in and is a loved show. TBS would probably do it, IMO. I just really can't see that one actually ending.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
I saw the original pilot of "Apartment 23" and it wasn't really different at all from what was aired.
I don't think it's going to get saved though. "Happy Endings" has a shot due to its episode count and production studio. "B----" doesn't have either in its favor.
And "Ben and Kate" was really hitting its stride. I loved the cast and characters.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
Apparently production is still underway on "Ben and Kate" (they're currently on episode 15). They have a 19 episode order that is going to be completed, so maybe now with the news they can craft a satisfying conclusion to the series And also I guess the networks doing this right now for "Ben and Kate" and "Apartment 23" is good in a way because it frees up the actors and crew members for at least part of pilot season. Wouldn't be the case if it was May.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
My favorite failed example of a network picking up shows is when CBS swiped Family Matters and Step By Step from ABC's TGIF lineup and then they both failed and ended quickly after years on the air. This is back when CBS was in last place by a wide margin among A18-49. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CBS_Block_Party

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
Ben & Kate is one of my favorite shows right now. They really hit their stride, much like New Girl did last year. But it didn't have a name like Zooey Deschanel to keep audiences interested long enough.
More than ever, shows are getting picked up elsewhere. It's kind of crazy. Family Guy and Futurama were the first two in the last decade to do it. They set off a chain reaction.
